We meet again... {TAG Kocoum}

He smirked a bit. "And I am just trying to get to know you better. What is wrong with that?"

He blinked in surprise, again, at his words: why? why would he want something like that? Why did he care? Why, after capturing him, he showed so much kindness to him? He took off his chains when they were hurting him, he took care of his wounds, he allowed him to take a bath and even gave him new clothes... but why? "Well, stop it, you're creeping me out..." he muttered looking away and frowning "why would you want to know me anyway?"

He smirked. "You ask me why, and I will ask you why not? Is there a reason for me not to learn to know you? Are you dangerous?" He asked a bit mockingly. Taking his hand again and placing it on his neck and letting go of his hand. "Go on. Show me how dangerous you are."

Why not? What kind of reason was that?! Why not! And was he mocking him again now? That guard was such an ass! Once again Pip moved his hand away like he had just touched fire "I'm a thief, not a fucking assassin..." he muttered, stepping back "and 'why not'... 'why not' is not a reason! Whenever people try to get closer, they do it cause they earn something from it, so they can easily stab me in the back at the first occasion! Nobody gets interested in a street rat for nothing! They just wanna know my weak points, so why would you be any different?!" he got upset again, but the truth was, what really angered him was the fact he couldn't understand the guard's reasons. Cause he had already defeated him, so what else could he possibly want?

He listened to Pips rant again. His eyebrows furrowing into a frown. He was really getting annoyed again with Pips's attitude. "You think that is all there is to life? Doubt?" He asked, standing up from the bed and towering above Pips. "You think that you are alone in this world?! You think that you are the only person in this whole world who gets stabbed in the back?!" He poked Pips on the shoulder a bit. "Since you are so high and mighty think about what reason would I have to stab you in the back before you accuse me of such! If anything I should be wary of you! You know more personal things about me than I know of you! And you fear for your back!" He laughed. "Get the fuck out of my room and take the plate with you!" He said pointing at the door angrily.

As Pips saw Kocoum's annoyed expression he started to think he had made a huge mistake talking so much, and he became even more convinced of that as the man stood up, towering over him. He jerked back as Kocoum touched him again. He was only half focused on his words, getting ready to be hit any time soon. Instead, he just shout at him and ordered him to leave. He breathed relieved and just ran to take the plate and quickly walked toward the door. He didn't reply anything, he just didn't want to anger the guard even more. Quickly and without a word he rushed out, almost bumping into Opal who was just passing by in the corridor

Kocoum watched Pips storm off. The door was left ajar, but he didn't care. All he wanted was to just fill his head with wine and just pass out. Falling on the bed and burying his face in the pillow.

Opal was just passing by, looking once again for the sept but once again she had gotten lost in the palace and found herself in the zone of the bedchambers. She was already going to leave when she heard a familiar voice shouting something she didn't quite get before a boy would storm off a room, leaving the door open and almost running over her. She swallowed, unsure if i was a good idea of not to get in, maybe she would just annoy Kocoum more... but it was worth a try. Shyly she knocked on the door, even though it was open "I-is everything allright? Can I come in?"

He heard a faint knock from the door. Turning his head so that he could see the door. And saw Opal standing in the doorway.
Kocoum pushed himself to sit up. Running his hand through his hair in a combing motion. Sighing deeply. "Yes. You can." Somehow Opal's presence calmed him. "How can I help you?" He asked her, daring to smile just a little bit.

As Kocoum's voice invited her in, Opal entered in the room and walked toward Kocoum's bed, stopping a few steps away "A-actually... I was wondering if I can help you..." she replied with a concerned smile "I heard you screaming and... w-well... a-are you ok?" sh was honestly concerned, and it wasn't just for the screaming: Kocoum looked pretty much like a mess, he was still in bed and there were empty bottles everywhere...

He sighed deeply. He could lie to her to reassure her that he was fine, but that would be insulting her intelligence and be rude. "No I am not. But I doubt there is anything you can do about it."

She bit her lower lip, frowning: she was really shy and had troubles relating to people, she didn't want to be a bother for Kocoum or annoy him in such a moment, but her nurse-spirit kicked in and she just couldn't help but walk toward him and genty put a hand on his shoulder "You can never know... you want to talk about it?" she asked gently

He let out a deep breath, placing his hand on his forehead and sort of wiping his face with it. It kind of released some tension in him. "I am just being a moody little bastard. Do not worry about me. It's complicated..."

For a moment she thought bout sitting next to him, but that was his bed and she didn't want to impose him her presence. she stayed where she was a gently caressed his shoulder "I do have time to listen" she smiled to him, encouraging him "If you want me to leave, tough, I'll go..." she added, almost mortified realising that maybe he just wanted her gone...

Kocoum couldn't help but to smile at her persistence. "Well.... There is this person I met that I like allot.... And they are in Kingslanding while I am spoken for in here.... And I really want to see them...." He sighed rubbing the back of his head a bit awkwardly. It felt weird to tell her these kinds of things. And he was not sure about Opal's reactions to know it was a man he was pining for.

She opened her mouth in surprise as he explained what was wrong, before she smiled sweetly to him. So it was a love matter... she had never loved before so she couldn't really relate, but she could nonetheless understand his pain "Well why don't you go? I'm sure that the p- ...Soma..." she quickly corrected herself "wouldn't mind if you went for a couple of days..." she encouraged him.

He smiled to how she thought it was simple for him to just go. "I am sure Soma would actually let me go. Just as I am sure he would tag along and make sure to keep teasing me for sure." He chuckled. "But I don't work for Soma, I work for your grandfather. And he would not let me leave without a good reason. And the Prince has no business at the moment outside of Dorne." He sighed.

She bit her lower lip at his reply: was his situation really impossible to solve? She barely knew him, but he had been so nice to her and it pained her to see him like that... than something in her mind started moving "What... what would a good reason be?" she asked hesitantly.

He shrugged. "I don't know. A diplomatic mission. Or a member of the royal family going on a trip. All of which requires Doran's permission."

She bit harder her lower lip: would she dared to do such a thing? She looked at Kocoum: he looked so incredibly sad... and she had nothing to lose now, did she? "Wait here, I'll be back later" she simply said with an encouraging smile before she left the room.
Once she was out she took a deep breath, trying to gain some courage, and she directed herself to Doran's chambers.
She had to wait a while before he could receive her, and he was obviously quite surprised since they had met only once before in a really formal and really quick introduction. She approached him with shaking knees and stuttered in a peep her request "C-can I-I... g-go to visit m-my... my cousin in King's Landing?" it was true that one of the cousins she grew up with was now a guard in King's Landing, and she could easily visit him, but she had no particular relationship with him... nor with the rest of the family, to be fair, but... well, that was a good reason enough, wasn't it? Apparently it was for Doran... He wasn't happy about the request but he decided to say yes.

As she was done in Doran's chambers, she quickly ran toward Kocoum's bedroom, her legs still trembling and he face terribly pale after an experience that really terrified her, but she didn't care. She knocked once again to Kocoum's door and, as soon as she was told she could get it, she opened the door and reached toward the bed, a smile that went from one year to the other. "I think it should be time for you to get up and start packing... you have to accompany me to King's Landing" she said sweetly.

Kocoum didn't know what to think when Opal suddenly rushed out of the room. Just laying down and deciding to take a nap while he could.

He woke up when the door to his room opened. A very excited looking Opal standing in the doorway. He propped himself up by his elbows. "You?" He asked seeming like he missed something important. "Doran lets you go to Kingslanding?" That was rather surprising really.

She smiled apologetically at his question "I... asked him if I could visit a cousin, he wasn't pleased but he agreed..." then, biting her lower lip, doubting of her action since she had imagined a far more enthusiastic reaction, she asked hesitantly "a...aren't you happy? I thought this was what you wanted..."

He smiled at her cute face. "I am, but I am also a bit surprised.... I didn't think you'd do something so brave." He laughed a little. Getting up from the bed and going to her. Wrapping his arms around her and picking her up in the air and twirling her around before lowering her down slightly and placing a kiss on her cheek before placing her back down on the ground. "Thank you Opal." He said fondly.

She couldn't blame him for thinking such things, she didn't exactly look brave and confident, now did she? She smiled shyly, but her expression turned in pure surprise as Kocoum wrapped his arms around her, twirling her around before he places a kiss on her cheeks: as he put her down again, she couldn't look more embarrassed and her cheeks couldn't be redder, but she was still smiling shyly. "I-I-I'm j-just happy I... c-could help... a little..." she stuttered back to him

She was so cute when she was blushing and stammering like that. "Well go on and go pack. I shall pack too and make the preparations for the trip also." He ushered her.
