The vision (tag Sinbad)

Nita enjoyed the silence as she walked in the forest with a spear in her hand. It wasn’t long now until Garret and his parents would visit her and her mother to discuss the wedding between her and Garret. She was very excited and nervous for their arrival. She was a bit nervous to discuss the wedding plans, but she was also thinking about how she should tell Garret about her abilities with the greensight and skinchanging. How would he react to it? She stepped her foot and balanced carefully on a large tree trunk over a small river. She closed her eyes for a moment and listened to the sound of the stream.

There was no way he was going to stay on that ship any longer with his sister who had changed their course to head up north. Without even telling him and the others. Also his brother and that stowaway were one of the reasons to why he left as well. It was getting tired of being under his brother’s watchful eyes and he didn’t want to wake up to those two screaming at each other in anger once more. Besides his brother had threatened to just drop him off somewhere so Sinbad would rather leave first before that happened.

Sinbad sighed heavily as he wandered through the forest, hopefully to find a town to find an inn and get some liquor. Then probably rent one of the boats to get back home, if he wanted to go back. He knew of his location already. Sinbad had only passed through the Wolfswood once or twice, so he was a bit fairly familiar with it. But not much. He turned his head slightly as he heard the sound of a river, immediately knowing that he was nearing close to a town.

She could hear that someone was approaching toward her. She was about to open her eyes when she felt strange in her head, almost dizzy. Her foot slipped and she fell into the water. Lucky for her it wasn't deep. She shook her head as she rose up from the water and then she saw a man. She opened her mouth to ask who he was when she suddenly got a vision and sank on her knees. She groaned, like she was in pain.

Sinbad slightly winced at the sound of something crashing into the river, causing him to go see what it was. He cursed as he noticed that it had been a woman, a bit grateful that the water wasn't deep. "Are you alright, lady?" he asked out as he started to make his way over to her. She seemed like she was about to say something before sinking down to her knees, groaning in pain. Sinbad widened his eyes at this and rushed his way over to her. "Hey!" he exclaimed in a worried tone as he reached down and grabbed her shoulder lightly.

A burning ship, sailing at the sea. There were many people who died at the ship, burning up or drowning in the water. No, not everyone. A young man swimming away in the water. He was heading for the land, toward safety. He reached his hand on the ground and suddenly he was covered in blood. She could hear the cries of pain and laughter. He fell on the ground before a pair of black boots. A flayed hand reaching toward him with a bloody knife.

Slowly her mind came back to reality, her clothes were wet and she felt a hand on her shoulder. She was shivering. She had never expired a frightening vision before. She looked up and saw the man looking worried at her. It felt like her blood just froze in her. It was him. The man swimming away from the ship.

(OOC: 0-0 I'm really scared now for my baby! D:)

Sinbad furrowed his eyebrows as the woman finally came to, but only to tense up at the sight of him. It a bit perturbed him for such a reaction, but shrugged it off quickly. "Oi..about time you get up. You're shivering!" he remarked, referring to her kneeing in the water for quite some time. At least it wasn't one of those deep, fast running rivers, he'd be scrambling to save the woman. Sinbad helped her up slowly, quirking an eyebrow at her surprised expression. "Something the matter, miss?" he asked, wondering to what was the matter with her. First she dropped down into the river, tensed up at the sight of him, then became surprised. Surely the last two actions were pretty much normal. But dropping down in a river, being unresponsive to his words seemed a bit odd.

(OOC: Now I really feel bad for him.)

She smiled toward him as he helped her up from the water. "Thank you, mister," she said. She tried to be calm after the vision. This man could be in danger, so she should warn him. But she didn't knew how. She looked at him, a bit blushing since he found her like this. Falling into the water and became tense when she saw him. "I... was just lost in thoughts and didn't pay attention to where I went!" she said when they got up from the river.

Sinbad nodded his head, giving her a simple smile. "You're welcome," he said back to the young woman. He quirked an eyebrow at her explanation of what happened. Well that didn't seem right to him. "You don't seem to be hurt, but you did seem so earlier. Want to tell me why that was?" he asked in a curious, suspicious tone. Sinbad didn't really seem to follow her story really.

What shall I do? What shall I say? Nita thought and looked down. She knew that many people believed that the greensight just belonged to the old stories. But it didn't. Her uncle Jojen Reed had also possessed the greensight, and Bran Stark too. "It's... a bit complicated." But he deserved to know what it was. After all, he helped her.

Sinbad quirked an eyebrow at her response to his question. Well she was definitely hiding something indeed. No doubt about that. "Bit complicated? Now that's hard to believe." he remarked in a suspicious tone, before shrugging his shoulders. "Well if you don't want to say, then I'll just take my leave now." Sinbad commented as he stepped away from the woman as they got out of the river.

"Wait!" Nita said when Sinbad stepped away. She had to warn him. "Would you have believed me if I said I had a vision about you?" It sounded weird, she knew that, but she had to say it.

Sinbad glanced behind his shoulder at the woman, raising an eyebrow at what she asked. "A vision?" He asked out in a curious, confused tone. He turned around fully, crossing his arms over his chest. "Depends." he remarked, shrugging his shoulders.

She removed some of her wet hair from her face and took a deep breath. Then she looked at him. "I saw you swimming away from a burning ship. When you reached the land, you were covered in blood." She was scared and her heart pounded wildly. "You cried in pain while some others were laughing." She was serious and at the same time, she was frightened.

A flash of concern appeared in Sinbad's dark blue eyes, but that quickly vanished as soon as it appeared. He tapped the bottom of his chin, slightly tilting his head to the side. "Is that so?" He had heard of those who could have visions. But Sinbad wasn't that too fond of such visions. The visions were either faulty or truthful. So it was hard to believe if such a vision was true. He gave a bit of a deep sigh, shaking his head a bit. "Maybe I shouldn't have asked."The girl's expression seemed a bit to real, looking quite frightened and serious at the same time. "Welp. Got any tips for this not to happen? Perhaps not going anywhere near ships....though that would be a problem." He asked, his tone on the verge of sarcasm and skepticism.

Nita felt bad for him. "Just stay away from the sea for a while!" she said. "But if you really have to go to the sea, be careful with the crew, make sure that things won't get in fire." She looked at him a moment before she asked. "Do you have some enemies? If so, you should stay on guard. One can never know what will happen."

Sinbad quirked an eyebrow at her suggestion of keeping this vision of hers from becoming true. Well that was he gathered. He couldn't help it when a chuckle seeped past his lips at it. "Can't really help that. I'm a Greyjoy after all." Besides traveling by water in a ship was his favorite way to get to places. Sure the ships weren't his. But he'd rather not mess with his sister or brother. Because he'd rather not have them mess with or nag him. Now the crew suggestion was a tad bit hard as well. Drinking happened alot on the travels and the crew wouldn't do well with there liquor being taken away. Same thing went for him as well.

Sinbad shrugged his shoulders at the last comment. "I don't have any personal enemies. Unless you count my brother and sister."

"Greyjoy?" That could explain about the sea in her vision. Her mother had told her about the time when Theon Greyjoy took Winterfell, and how she and her brother helped Osha and Hodor to fake Bran's and Rickon Stark's escape. She raised an eyebrow about his last reply. "But your brother and sister wouldn't want you dead, would they?"

Sinbad nodded his head slightly, giving the woman a light grin. "The irresponsible second born at your service." he remarked in a sarcastic tone. Shameful. Unruly. Being an irresponsible child of a house like Greyjoy meant many things to others. As long as it kept him from politics and trouble with other houses. Sinbad was fine as being thought as such. More fun and play for him after all. Sinbad snickered a bit at her question concerning his siblings and his life. "Nah. They wouldn't." He thought for a moment before shaking his head lightly. "Although there are times I think I may push them over the edge sometimes. Besides my brother would rather reform me into someone life him than killing me. And my sister...she tries to keep me in line even though she's the youngest."

"Irresponsible?" Nita giggled. "So you prefer staying far away from politics as possible?" She couldn't blame him. There were times when she and her mother had to be present during meetings with other houses, and it used to be boring. But it was like that when one was in charge of their house. She gave Sinbad a little smile when he mentioned his siblings. "It almost sounds like my mother and uncle when they were younger," she chuckled. Nita knew that her mother, loved Jojen, but there were also times that he could make Meera furious, according to Bran Stark.

"Sleeping around with whoever take interest in. Drinking till dawn in the taverns. Taking my brother's ship out for a spin which lasts weeks or so. The list continues." Sinbad smirked as he crossed his arms over his chest in a nonchalant way as he leaned against one of the trees near the river. "Of course. If I got involved in such matters, I wouldn't be having any fun at all." He laughed softly a bit under his breath in amusement. "My mother and uncle weren't as lucky really like that."

"Oh," Nita said. What she knew was that Theon Greyjoy was the foster child Ned Stark and that things were not easy for him when he got older. "My uncle didn't know how to handle a weapon, so my mother had to protect him all the time."

Sinbad shrugged his shoulders slightly. "When my mother finally wanted to protect my uncle, it was a bit too late for her to do so." By that time, he had been kidnapped and turned into 'Reek' by that Bolton bastard. "A little bit glad that my siblings and I have a better relationship. Even if we want to strangle each other at times," he chuckled in amusement.

"Thanks for the tip on the vision. I'll...try my best to avoid it?" Though he highly doubted that. But it would put her mind in good thoughts for a while. He didn't need any more bad thoughts after that small spat with his brother. "By any chance, do you know which way it is to the nearest town?"

The nearest town she could think about was one nearby Winterfell. "Sure," she said and pointed toward north. "And you're welcome. And my name is Nita Reed." It was typical her. She was always polite toward everyone.
