The morning after a shamefull day

With a big headache Marina slowly woke up, awoken by some birds singing love songs to each other not far from her bed. The memories of the last night were blurred and felt messed up similar to her head. Just what happened that night? So far she could only remember that she acted strangely the past days, especially yesterday. How could she have been so reckless that time? And most over all how could she be so shameless flirty with her just arrived hand? By the gods Reth! Now all, or at least most of her memories came back in a rush and made her immediatly blush and hide under her blanket. Please let the memories only be a bad dream! Just when she felt desperated she heard a knock on the door and a voice she wasn´t able to identify through the far away wood door. She waited a little, unsure if she should let the visitor in but she was the queen and therefore needed to be always present. "Come in."

Reth walked toward the queen's chambers: after that last night, he was at the very least curious to know how the queen was handling the after effects of the wine. He was almost tempted to get in there unonnounced as she had done just a day before, but in the end he preferred not to let Westeros mess with his good manners. He called a servant and asked her to inform the queen he wanted to see her. Promptly the maid walked toward the queen's room and knocked, when she allowed her in she informed the the prince Reth Montmayeur was there to see her

Marina felt relieved and relaxed a bit when she saw that it was only a servant who entered but as soon as she heard that her hand entered her eyes widened and when she heard that he even was a prince, a fact she hasn´t been informed about until now, her heart stopped for a moment before it started to beat like crazy as she heard herself say that he is welcomed to enter the room. She was almost about to call after the servant who was on the way back to the door and hide under her blanket for good when she remembered that it would be no use since the servant already finished half on the way but over all it would only be a shamlessly rude and disrespectful act of hers again.

As the servant came back informing him he could go in, he thanked her and nodded. He was a bit surprised: he thought that the queen would receive him in some lounge and not in her bedroom... but after all there wasn't much he hadn't seen the previous evening so all in all it made enough sense. "Goodmorning, Marina" he greeted with a mocking smirk, entering the room

Marina immediatly face palming herself when she heard Reth call her by her first name. "Oh no did I really? ... No wait I don´t even wanna know." Slowly, trying not to embarrass herself all over again, she got out of her bed and quickly fixed her night gown before she stood properly in front of him with enough space between them. "Is there anything that needs my attention?"

"Don't worry with that, there's nothing you didn't show me generously yesterday anyway." he told her teasingly as she started fixing her nightgown. "I actually just wanted to check on you, wouldn't be surprised to find out you're not feeling very well." he was still teasing her, but he was also being honestly concerned

"Well I uhm could feel better but I´m okay. Thank you for coming by to check on me. After all that happened yesterday it´s really nice of you." She replied not being able to really look at him for the moment. Taking a deep breath she then was finally able to face him though. "Also I´m really sorry for my behavior, especially yesterday. I eh ... it was just ... I guess the recent events had a heavier effect on me than I expected."

H grinned, seeing how all of a sudden she had turned shy and unable to look at him "No harm done, Marina" he wasn't going to let it go so easily "Nobody but me saw you drank and naked... and well, I guess that makes it even for yesterday's morning" even though, in both cases, marina was the one to blame.

At his reply Marinas whole face got redder and redder. It was just so terrible embarassing for her. "You ... you didn´t tell anyone right?" In this situation she really wished to have at least a fan to hide behind but of course there was no real place to hide and she also couldn´t just run away leaving again a very bad impression of herself.

She was actually blushing! That was a first! He grinned at her reaction and had to admit that she looke really cute, he was more attracted by her now than the day before. "No, it's our little secret." he said walking toward her

Letting out another sigh she faced him now a little more relaxed even though he got closer. "Thank you."

"You're still in your nightgown... do you need my help again to get dressed?" he asked teasingly, getting closer and closer to her

Again she started to blush very heavy this time however because of his offer and moved a step back. "I really appreciate your kind offer but more than handing me the dress over really is not needed at all thank you."

"Are you sure, Marina?" he was driving her to the corner of the room and he was perfectly aware of that "I'd be more than happy to help, you know..." he was teasing her hardly, but he had no intntion to stop. It was payback time for the little clumsy queen...

"Yes indeed I am very sure that I´m not in need of your help also what do you intend in this corner?" She replied a little very nervous. After all Reth was a very tempting man but Marina clearly had enough of doubtable moments.

"What a pity, I do prefer to undress a sober woman than a drank one..." he replied teasingly. As Marina reached the corner with her shoulders, he made the few steps he needed to erase the distance between them. He was so close now that she could hear his breath... And he knew this would make her terribly nervous, but he wasn't going to stop torturing her so quickly, he first wanted a complete apology: she did apologize briefly, but that definitely wasn't enough...

Marina rolled her eyes. "I know. Now could you please give me some space to breath." She said giving him a poke on his chest. After all she also remembered that Reth would never take a woman by force and since she was the queen Marina had nothing to fear anyways even though she felt a little uncomfortable having him so close while she was still in her night gown which was of course not covering that much as her normal dresses not to mention that the fabric was awefully thin.

"Doesn't feel really comfortable, does it?" he asked rhetorically with a teasing grin, meaning the whole situation, ignoring her request. Maybe now she would get how he could feel the previous day... and he wasn't going to let go so easily, queen or no queen, he was expecting a proper apology.

She chuckled a little. "Oh you´re referring to yesterday aren´t ya? Well then I´m really sorry for disturbing you without even waiting for a response and putting you in such an uncomfortable position reasoned by me. And of course for throwing myself on you yesterday forcing you to stay and un- as well as redress me. Not to mention my shameless flirting with you." Marina then however apologized honestly.

Reth was finally satisfied. "No harm done, it's ok." He made a step back with a gentle smile "I guess that this will at least allow us to skip formalities in private, Marina" he added to light up again the mood, still using her first name. After all, after seeing each others in such inconvenient ways, there was no reason to keep up with all the royal formalities. At least on his account, since she never referred to him with his title.

Still called by her first name her cheeks turned a little red again. She had thought he only did it to tease her forcing her to give an extented apologize but now that it was done ... "Well I uh ... just hope it really stays private."

"Oh, don't worry, it will" he winked in a friendly way to her "So... if you don't need my help I could at least give you some privacy to change yourself" he replied, starting to move toward the door

"Thank you." She replied letting out another sigh just before she called after him again before Reth was out of the room. "Wait I still got a question. The servant said you were a prince?"

Reth was quite surprised by her question: didn't she know? "Yes, I'm prince Reth Montmayeur of Kharos, heir to the throne." he didn't say but his question was evident in his eyes

Marina crossed her arms and smirked at him. "You know, it would have been nice to know that you´re in that kind of high position."
