A storm in a tea cup (tag Rose)

She nodded. "Ofcourse my lord." She said. Following him. If he did not wish to speak of it. She'd have to respect it. Keeping her mouth shut for some time. Just taking in the beaty that were the gardens in Dorne. Perhaps the silence spoke more compared to their what seemed to be a bit forced conversations. He had made it clear that he didn't want to get married. Rose hoped she could change his mind. If not then she'd just return to Lannisport and pick up her duties. "The gardens are beautiful..." She muttered softly. While she tried to pick up all the beautiful colors.

"Yes... I suppose they are.... But I think the best view you get is over here." He said leading her through a gate to the cliffs. The view opening up from to the show the river and the mountains surrounding the island. The blue of the water and the sky contrasting nicely to the reddish tones of the mountains. "I think this is the best view on the island. It's still surrounded by the gardens, but yet gives you this grand view." He liked this view because the shapes were still easy to see compared to something detailed.

She smiled brightly. Looking out. The view was.. breath taking. Rose looked to her side. Smiling. "Is this your favorite place to go Thomas?" She asked. as she tried to take in all the colors. Dorne was far more beautiful than Lannisport. Thomas seemed much more at easy now. She should give him some time. One step at a time. He hadn't stopped their meeting. She should lay low on the physical things. He seemed like a person who would prefere some space. Perhaps one day she could get much more into his space. As she had decided. One step at a time.

He nodded. "I suppose it's one of them now...." He mumbled.
Allowing the silence to fall over them. He was rather pleased that she wasn't imposing the physical contact on him as much as she had before.
Thinking that he should perhaps see her thoughts on the marriage business some more.
"So.... Hypothetically speaking..... How do you see our marriage be like if we are to go through with it?" He asked looking at the ground rather than her.

Rose didn't find the silence annoying. Or bothering. It was nice to have that silence for some time. Rose smiled softly as he asked about her thought conserning the marraige. Hypothetically speaking ofcourse. "I think you would be a good husband...." She answered. Before thinking some more about it. "I see us getting along very well. If we both give it some time ofcourse.... How do you see it?" She asked returning the question.

He nodded, thinking about what the future would be like for them. "So we would be living here?" He asked her.
She was very agreeable and he could see himself with her. He just felt like he might not be what she deserved or wanted. But perhaps he should trust her judgment.

"Women are supose to leave their house and live with their husband. I take it that this will happen to us aswell." She said looking at him. "Unless you'd prefere to come and live with me. In Lannisport." Rose looked back at the view. "Or we could live somewhere else. Not here in Dorne.. not in king's landing..."

"We could live here if you want..." He hurried to suggest. He wasn't really keen on going to Kingslanding or to Lannisport. He liked the warm climate too much and he wasn't so sure about so suddenly changing his location to somewhere he didn't know the people.
"But we could visit Lannisport often so your sister doesn't get mad...." He suggested.

she smiled softly. "Thank you." Rose said after he suggested they'd go to lannisport to meet her family. Even though they would live here. "My mother died when I was younger. And ever since that I've tried to be there for both my sisters. However little Olena needs a bit more guiding at times. Some say I'm the only one she listens to. That's why she was a little bit upset that I left for Dorne. We have a strong bond.." Rose explained.

He bit his lip. Having a feeling this little sister of hers might indeed not like him much. "Then perhaps she could live with us at times..."

"Would you be alright with that?" She asked. Looking at him. "If not I could always go alone to Lannisport. I can understand if you'd rather not go.. or invite them."

He frowned a bit. "I just said I would be alright with that didn't I?" He probably sounded a little annoyed, but he didn't care. He didn't like saying things twice.

She was a bit undone by his sudden.. Almost rudeness. "Yes you did. I'm sorry." She said. Looking the other way. Letting another silence fall. She Sighed a bit. It was going good wasn't it? "Do you have any.. Siblings?" She asked deciding to run the conversation again.

He looked at the ground. He was screwing things up wasn't he? "I have an older brother..." He should have probably have been married first before him. But perhaps his parents were desperate to get rid of him.
"Shall we go for a walk again tomorrow?" He asked her a bit unsure.

Rose wondered if he and his brother had a good bond. Rose nodded when he asked if she wanted to take a walk with him again tomorrow. "Yes Thomas.. I'd like that very much.." She said with a smile looking at him. "I take it our walk was not disappointing then?" She asked.

He smiled a little. "Only if it wasn't disappointing to you." He said.

that was a little smile. "I didn't think it was disappointing at all.. " Rose turned to face him. "Shall we walk back then?" Rose asked.

Thomas nodded. Offering his arm for her to take if she so chose. Starting to walk back with her.
He was sure his mother would be pestering for him to tell her everything once they got back.

She took his offered arm. When they got to the entrance she smiled. "Thank you lord Thomas.." She bowed. "Till tomorrow."

He gave her a bow. Watching her go back to the castle before deciding to follow himself.
Before he knew it he was ambushed by his mother. Instead of wanting to answer her questions he started to run, wanting to reach his room and bar the door so she couldn't get in. Bumping into a few people and walls along the way. But still thankful to get into his room without the old harp harassing him.
