Visit at the Marketplace

Kian looked at her and nodded, while he put the flagon back from where he took it. "As you wish, mylady.", he sat down next to her and looked around. "It's been a while. I almost forgot Lannisport has one of the biggest markets. I need to come back here more often."

"What if you find out what you want to know? WHy you are here?", he asked her, not realising what he did to her.

"I think you would make good dealings here. How often do you come here?", she asked while looking at the busy passing people.

She hardened, but tried to hide it. "Well.. I already told you, didn't I?", she smiled at him and looked away again. "There's no special reason for being here in Lannisport, I'm travelling all around the country."

Kian titled his head from side to side. "Normally around 2 till 4 times in a year. But the last two I was hardly around. I had things to do otherwise.", he nodded. "Indeed you can make a lot of good dealings here. Especially you have the right merchandise at the right time. Not alwas easy to find out what pleases for the moment."

"I haven't seen many young women travelling around the country on their own without a particular reason. Normally they do... because of marriage, because they are searching for something. The worst of them want to go in trouble. And most of all three types end up in some kind of prisoned relationship."

"And how do you figure that out? Or do you just guess in what the people might be interested in ? I don't think I could manage this...", she said with a smile.

"I'm Not searching for someone to marry nor for trouble" but she was sure that some trouble will be waiting for her already...hopefully she will get out of this without a bigger harming..

"It's not that hard to figure out. First rule is not to bring anything again you brought hte last time. Except someone asked for it, but even then you shouldn't bring as much as the last time, cause they might have changed their mind when you come back. So you keep the merchandise with you, cause no one wants it.", Kian chuckled. "Mostly I look what they liked the last time and then bring it in different colors of forms. Sometimes bring something that is quite unusual. It will surprise you how many people like to get something, they can make others be jealous on them."

"But you are searching.", he smiled warm. "You just don't know for what exactly.", he moved a bit to sit more comfortable and his hand touched hers shortly.

"Well I don't really think it's surprising at all. It's how People Are isn't it? Always want to prove theirselfs and showing others that they're better or more beautiful or richer.", she sighed. She knew those kind very well..

She didn't answer him. Of course she knew what she was searching for. She knew it exactly. And what she was gonna do when she found it...

"Mh" her blood was rushing through her veins when he accidently touched her hand. Did he do this on porpuse?

"Most do yes.", Kian nodded slowly. Then he turned his gaze at her. "Aren't you feeling good? Shall we leave the sun and go somewhere to a booth where you can stay in the shadows?", he didn't want her to become I'll because of the sun. She was so fragile. It didn't suit him to act like a stupid coward around a woman and forget to care about her.

"No, i'm fine. But we can go on now.", she smiled and Stood up. The sun Never bothered her in any way. She liked the warm feeling on her Skin. "I'm very curious about what you can Show me next.", she smiled down on him.

Kian smiled and stood up. "Good, let's see some more.", he took her hand in his and pulled her along the booths again. Here and there he stopped and explained things Kian thought which might be interesting to know. Not every merchant had to be trusted and it would be good for her to know, how to find out.

She was quite surprised that he took her hand again. And..kept holding it the whole time. For some reason she was really happy about this and smiled all the time. She listened to him carefully and kept everything in mind. When he made a joke, she laughed. When he was talking she looked at his lips moving. Making a funny comment on what he was saying and asking him questions inbetween.

They were standing in front of a booth when the sky clouded and a few raindrops came down from it. "Oh, it started raining all over sudden!", she said.

Kian pulled her under the booth with him. "Then we should search for rescue under here.", he smiled and put his hands around her waist, pulling her closer again, cause it got stuffed under the canopy of the booth. "Careful.", he turned around so she stood against the wooden planks of the booth and he was between her and the other people - protecting her.

Kian looked at her lips and leaned a bit towards her, but then moved his lips to her ear. "Now pupil, after all I taught you, tell me, am I a merchant who can be trusted?"

When he pulled her against him, she blushed. How could a single move from him be so sexy? She looked up to him, even when he changed places. She wanted to take a step backwards, but she abuttet against the booth. She felt kind of caught, but in a very good way...
She kept looking into his eyes, her lips still a small gap open because of her suprising. She couldn't believe what he was doing when he leant forward to her. He was looking at her lips.. Did he want to kiss her?? She almost made advances to him, but in the same moment he moved to her ear. Normally she didn't like it if somebody talked to her like she was a little teenager, but it really kind of turned her on hearing it from him... Breathe, Meg, breath. "Well... it seems so. At least as a merchant..", she said teasingly.

"Only as merchant?", he laughed shortly. Kian leaned back and looked around. All the booths with canopies got stuffed with people who got surprised by the rain and wanted to escape from him. The air around them was still warm and it started to smell fresh and clean. "Did you ever tried to dance in the rain?", he asked out of the blue, lightly lost in memories. His wife had done it. Taking his hand and pulling him away from work. Kian shook his head and looked back at Athena. "If not, want try it, mylady?"

"Dancing...in the rain?", she asked bewildered. "Well, I never tried it, but- huuahh!" She was interrupted by him not waiting for her whole reply, simply taking her hand and pulling her with him into the middle of the way between the booths. She had never been this go-out-and-just-live-type of women so she didn't really know what to do and looked a little helpless at him.

Kian smiled at her. "Mylady.", he bowed in front of her and then walked closer. He took one of her hands in his and put the other one at her waist. "So shy now?", he asked teasingly when she hesitately laid her hand on his shoulder.

Slowly he started to move and dance with her. Kian twirled her around a few times and listened to her laughter. It didn't matter that they got wet and the people were staring irritated. It was just Athena and her shimmering eyes.

She laughed nervously. "It's just...unusual."

At the begonning she felt every gaze of the people around them laying on them, but when they started to dance she forgot about them completely. She had just eyes for this handsome man in front of her and laughed when he turned her around again and again. It was such a weird situation, but also very funny and crazy. It was nothing like she had ever done before.

Kian stopped he dance and caught her in his arms, when she tripped over her feet by the sudden ending of the dance. "We better stop or you catch a cold and won't be able to continue your journey.", he smiled gently. " It's always the small things whom we are going to remember."

He brought her back under the canopy. Kian let go of her hand and thought about the fastest way to bring her back to the inn before he had to go back to his booth and take care of it. He felt a little feeling of guilt overthrowing when he thought about Malea and how he just forgot about her so easily. It was about time to go back.

She smiled and got back on her own feet again. "So I guess you want me to remember you?", she chuckled. She definitely will.

She was wet to the core, but it was warm so she didn't feel cold. Still a smile on her face. She didn't know he could be that crazy and funny..and sexy, too.... She looked at his chest. His white shirt was adhere to his body and she could see trough it. She was really impressed... She told herself to stop staring at him and she looked back in his face. That wasn't better, he was so pretty...with his brown eyes and his fine hair.. She just couldn't resist and put aside a wisp of his hair. "Mh.. maybe I should go and change..", she said with a smile.

Kian turned his head back to her, when she touched his hair. He took her hand in his and placed a gentle kiss on the palm of her hand. "Yes, we should go back. I'll bring you to the inn mylady, so you'll be fine.", he showed her his arm and waited for her to come along with him.

"Thank you very much, Mr. Innis", she said and clasped his arm. It was still raining, but not as much as before. They walked over to their inn and stopped at the entry. There Megara let go of his arm and smiled up to him. "Thank you for bringing me her, Mr. Innis. I had a good time the last few hours spend with you."

Kian smiled and bowed slightly. "The pleasure is all mine, mylady. I hope I could be helpful in some way.", he looked at the door of the inn and then back to the market. "I shall leave you here alone, I still have a duty to do.", he smiled again and turned around.

"Of course. I will see you around then.", she said and looked after him before entering the inn. She went up to her room and put on some dry clothes. Sadly she didn't get so many information about the Helena-stone, but she learned a lot about merchants which is really helpful, too. She sighed. He was such a good-looking man... She sat down on her bed and closed her eyes. Why didn't he just kiss her? Not that she wanted him to, but it would have been....god....some kind of... She sighed again. "I should really stop getting involved with him...", she said to herself. She didn't want to fall in love. That would be just causing trouble for her and her mission. "I don't have feelings for him anyways", she said and tried to delude herself.
