A Strange, New Land (Tag: Akhesa)

The morning sun of Dorne beat down on the land returning the warmth, Akhesa groaned wiggling in her bed lazily getting up and tended to by her servants before she moved to check on her guest smirking as she knocked upon the door separating them "Kayley~ rise and shine~"

All the excitement from the previous night had practically drained Kayley.  She had slept like a rock as soon as she had gone to bed.  Of course, it wasn't a dreamless sleep.  Akhesa had seemed to dance in her head almost all night.  Kayley couldn't think of anybody else.  She stirred slightly when she heard Akhesa calling her name.  She opened her eyes to see sunlight streaming through the windows, and she heard a couple of birds chirping nearby.  "Is it morning already?" she asked as she rubbed her eyes.

Akhesa chuckled before sighing "I am comming in~ but I promise it is to only help you up to get dressed not to take advantage of such a cute sleepy she-wolf" she stated opening the door and walking inside dressed in a tight gown of golden thread as she moved to Kayley's bedside "well... not unless she wishes to be taken advantage of"

Despite being in just her nightgown, Akhesa still looked as radiant as ever.  Kayley wondered how she did it.  Kayley had to put so much effort into making herself look pretty.  And even then, sometimes it didn't work.  She gave a little laugh before saying "Take advantage of me too much and I'll get exhausted again," she said.  "I don't want to fall asleep if we're doing something fun."

Akhesa grinned moving to be at Kayley's bedside before getting that look in her eyes as she leaned over Kayley "Mmmm I think I can live with you being trapped constantly waking only for me to take advantage of you till you cannot take anymore and must sleep keeping a repeating cycle. It's quite poetic when you think about it... north and south, warm and cold, sun and moon" she teased moving to sit on the bed "it would make the most decadent and tantalizing poetic song"

It was kind of romantic, when Akhesa put it like that.  Attraction of opposites always intrigued people, and were often the center of romantic poems and songs.  "You are pretty good when it comes to songs," Kayley said as she scooted a little closer to Akhesa.  "I bet you were a minstrel in another life."  Even if Akhesa didn't write songs all the time, no doubt other people wrote songs about her.  Who wouldn't, when she was so graceful and beautiful and lovely?

Akhesa smiled and that leaning over Kayley as her fingers stroked the young maidens cheek tenderly smilling "Perhaps for the sight of you urges me to compose and sing" chuckling as she moved down to kiss Kayley's forehead. As she hummed a little melody before singing softly almost sadly.

"Dear Rabbit....
Your legs grow weak as I chase you~
The snow field are so far if you only knew~
That this blood inside, it is far beyond cold~

And I've captured you once, but I wasn't quite right~
So, Im telling you that you'll be safe with me"

Gently withdrawing as she sighed "Mmmm... still not quite right for you, im afraid that one will turn into a sad song, I will have to try again"

Akhesa's fingers were warm against Kayley's skin, and they moved so gently.  She leaned against her as she sang quietly.  The melody was pretty enough, but Akhesa didn't seem very satisfied with it.  Part of Kayley wondered though, if her and Akhesa's relationship would end up like a sad song.  Things were great now, and Kayley did like her a lot, but she didn't know what kind of future they could have.  First sword fighting, then becoming infatuated with another woman, Kayley wondered if she would end up with anymore non-traditional qualities.

Akhesa pouted huffing lightly "ugh how frustrating... welp nothing to be done about it" she chuckled and shrugged before grinning as she got up and ripped the sheets from Kayley "up! time to get up I need to get you dressed and we can ride to the water gardens today just like I promised"

Akhesa didn't seem too troubled about the song though, and was soon her usual perky self.  That made Kayley smile a little bit.  And if the water gardens were as amazing as Akhesa said they were, then it was bound to be fun.  "Did you get a whole wardrobe for me before I came here or what?" she asked, laughing as she got out of bed.

Akhesa laughed at that shaking her head as she moved to snatch up Kayley and hold her close "Mmmm well if I had it my way you would not be wearing much at all" she teased

Kayley got caught off guard for a second as Akhesa practically swept her off her feet.  But she soon started laughing again as Akhesa held her close.  "Not sure how good that would be.  I'm so pale, I'd probably blind someone if the sunlight struck me at the right angle."  Of course, the idea of hardly wearing anything did make Kayley's cheeks turn a little pink.  Akhesa hadn't lost her ability to make her blush, despite her getting a little more comfortable with her flirtations.

Akhesa chuckled shaking her head before leaning in to kiss Kayley's cheek "you are too adorable when you blush my dear she wolf, and do not worry we will have you tanned in no time" smirking "your parents will hardly be able to recognize you"

Akhesa had a point.  At the rate Kayley was going, she would probably be tan if she spent a lot of time in the sunlight.  Although a few months in Winterfell and she would probably go back to being pale again.  Maybe she would just have to visit Dorne every once in a while, to get tan all over again.  "I think you look better with tan skin then I will though," she said.  Akhesa looked as if she had been born from the sand itself, and her skin seemed to make her blue eyes pop.  It was the perfect combination.

(I am good anytime really... how about after the water gardens scene is over?)

Akhesa smiled before shaking her head "no... I think the sun does well for you little wolf, I think you will turn into a dornish beauty in no time and I demand you return here to keep it that way" leaning in once again so close running her fingers along Kayleys back "and when I come to you, you will protect me from the harshest winters"

Looking into Kayleys eyes with a smirk "If you want a kiss, you will have to start it this time"

"Oh, I'm definitely visiting here again," Kayley said.  "So much that you'll get sick of me."  Of course, she doubted that would happen, but Kayley did intend on coming here again in the future.  Dorne and Akhesa were both enchanting in their own way.  Her heart pitter-pattered slightly when Akhesa mentioned kissing.  The last tine they had kissed, Kayley had felt like her heart was about to beat out of her chest.  And although part of her was still unsure about all this, she knew she had liked the feeling, and wanted to experience it again.  So, she went and pressed her lips against Akhesa's.  It was a light kiss, but still gentle, and it made Kayley feel like there were butterflies in her chest.

Akhesa smirked waiting on the girl before finding herself happily kissed, kissing Kayley back as she moaned happily snuggling against Kayley for a second before gently pulling back with a groan " Kayley... you need to tell me to leave or I will not be able to stop myself from devouring you like the wolf will the rabbit"

Akhesa responded with a lot of enthusiasm, and Kayley almost got knocked off her feet.  Kayley would have liked to go further, although Akhesa seemed to want to quit while they were ahead.  And Kayley knew she was right.  They had some water gardens to see, after all.  "Alright," she said, although she couldn't resist giving Akhesa one more peck on the cheek.  "Go on, shoo.  I'll be with you in a moment," she said with a laugh.

It was akhesa's turn to blush as she found herself kissed on the cheek, turning her face away as she groaned "you are a wicked temptress, get dressed fast or I shall be back and I will not stop myself" she said with an evil gleam in her eyes as she moved to leave the room closing the door behind her.

Akhesa soon left, albeit reluctantly.  Kayley almost felt the same.  But, she had more of Dorne to see, and she wouldn't exactly be able to see the city if she spent all day kissing Akhesa.  She pulled out the first garment she saw in a nearby closet and smiled.  It was an orange dress, with swirls all around it made of golden thread.  Kayley got into it pretty easily and marveled at how light the cloth was.  It was so different, from the heavy furs she wore around Winterfell.  Plus, this dress had sleeves that ended right at her shoulders.  It was a little strange for her, to show this much skin.  Despite Margery Tyrell dressing like this back in the day, no many people had caught onto the style.  But, she figured she might as well since she was here.  She couldn't exactly dress like his back at Winterfell.  She took an extra moment to run a brush through her hair, lest it look like a lion's mane when she left the room.  Once she was satisfied with her appearance, she opened her door to find Akhesa, stretching her body.  Her movements reminded Kayley of a cat, and she felt the animal fit Akhesa's personality.  "Shall we be going?" she asked with a playful smile.

Akhesa's dress was a rich azure that complimented her eyes which gazed at Kayley from the corner as she finished her stretching before she smiled "Yes.... don't worry the horses will be ready for us once we reach the stables and it is not too long a journey, though more then likely mother will insist I take guards with us. Which we shall because I don't want anything to hurt you"

Ah, yes.  There was always the insisting of guards.  Kayley's mother was the same.  She almost always made sure that Kayley had some guards with her.  Luckily, she hadn't been burdened with too many for this tip to Dorne.  Most of the soldiers didn't really want to go someplace where it was hot and humid.  "Is there anyone that might try?" she asked.  Sure, every city had its thieves and bandits who didn't mind trying to hurt or steal from noble families.  But Kayley wondered if somebody in Dorne would actually do it, especially given the Martell's reputation of being fearsome warriors.

"I am the princess that put herself into exile for a year and you are a foreigner.... I must say we are probably not the most popular pair in Dorne but to harm you would be unforgivable since you are a guest of the ruling family" smirking softly before she moved to leave waving Kayley to follow down the halls. To the courtyards where the sun beat down, Akhesa simply just took up a moment to soak up the sunshine with a smile.
