Disappearances in the crowd | MEGARA

Ysilla was walking through the crowd, trying to spy the right target to be pickpocket. All those merchants were so busy, thinking at their own business to not even notice her. Ysilla smiled to herself as she finally spotted the right man: a big, sweating old fogy who was too busy counting his papers than control his money.
She walked fast towards him and in the right moment she bumped into him, just to take from his pocket the little bag where he kept the money. Before he could even turn to bawl out at her manners, Ysilla was already gone, disappearing in the crowd.


"Stupid uēpa..." she laughed weighing the bag she just collected.
Even if at the moment she wasn't short of money, she always needed a little extra. You could never know.

"That was really fast", Megara said, standing behind Ysilla. She had been watching the whole scene and was kind of impressed by the skills of that woman. She was extremely fast, but luckily she passed her so she didn't have to run after her. She could really be helpful..maybe...

Ysilla couldn't help but give a little squeak in surprise as she hear a voice behind her: she didn't expected to be seen by someone, or that someone had been actually able to notice her action.
She turned to face the woman who had spoken, mostly to see if she was some kind of noble or juts a peasant, however from her look Ysilla couldn't really tell on the spot. She needed some more information.

"What do you mean?" Ysilla asked placing the bag with the money behind her back.

"Don't try to play the innocent girl. I saw everything.", she folded her arms, "And I have to say you have quite good skills. What is your name if I may ask?" She looked carefully across the woman in front of her, noticing every detail. "I don't care for this man, so I'm not gonna scream hysterical at you or anyone else here. Don't worry."

Ysilla was ready to tell one of her lies, undecided which one choose when the woman's reply left her stunned. No one had ever complimented her skills, not even in Essos. Why was that woman doing it?
Ysilla couldn't help, but be curios about her intentions. Was she planning a theft?! Maybe it was a rich booty!

"Ysilla." she replied after the last reassure from the woman "Yours? If I can ask..." she tilted her head smiling sightly.

"It's Athena.", she answered. That was the name she was currently using here in Lannisport. She curled the corners of her mouth to a smile. She could really be helpful. She knew she would. "So.. Ysilla. Why aren't we going around a bit?", she said and went next to her.

Ysilla raised an eyebrow as the other girl told her name: she had passed half of her life to lie to people, to able to tell when someone was lying to her. How could she not understand it?! However she decided to play along, at least till when she would finally understand what Megara really wanted.

"Sure... Athena." Ysilla smirked as she moved next to her.
"So... what are your business here in Lannisport?" she asked as they started walking away from that crowd.

Megara noticed her reaction to her name, but she didn't care whether the girl knew she was lying or not. She just needs to protect her name. She couldn't trust anyone.

"Well, I'm travelling around through the countries..", she said with a side glance at Ysilla, watching her reaction. When she didn't reacct at all, she continued: "I'm searching for something special." She took a break from speaking and then lowered her voice. "Did you hear about the Helenastone?", she asked. The Helenastone was her familyjewel and the murderer of her parents took it with him. She was sure she had heard about it in some way.. there were always be rumors.

Ysilla kept walking next to Megara as she started replying. However as Megara mentioned the Helenastone, Ysilla couldn't help but slowing her pass and raising an eyebrow: she had listened carefully to her story, not sure to be able to tell where the lies ended and the truth started. The Helenastone was just a legend, a story she used to hear from sailors back in Essos when she worked at the port.
"It's just a legend..." Ysilla smirked at her "A pirtir."

Megara gave her a knowing smile. "It is not. You know, it was the house of Hyblaia who held it. For many centuries, but you know they got killed many years ago. Then it got stolen by someone...", she explained. "And I need to find him and the stone."

Ysilla nodded as Megara spoke "Let's say that it does exist..." she tilted her head "Why so interested in that jewel?"
That girl could have been a collector of treasures or maybe she was looking the Helenastone for the glory or maybe for money, something that Ysilla could easily understand.

"Personal reasons.", she just said and smiled slightly. "I'm sorry." She never told anyone who she really was. It would have been too dangerous. If this certain someone who killed her family heard that she was alive, he probably wanted to kill her too. It was simply not possible to tell her. Hopefully Ysilla didn't mind.

"Personal reasons?" Ysilla smirked. Yeah for sure. Bet that she was looking for it, but she didn't want to share the money with her informers. Typical.
"That's fine..." she waved her hand "However I heard only stories from sailors, most of them agreed that it was brought to the Westeros."

"Really?", she asked and thought for a moment. She wondered how sure it was...  "Well, it's worth a try, isn't it?", she said more to herself than to Ysilla. Then she smiled. "So... is there a way you could get to Westeros? Or do you wanna stay here instead?"

"And you? I don't have any problem to go and get that imaginary stone..." Ysilla tilted her head passing a hand through her hairs "I wouldn't have stayed here for long, anyway..."
Ysilla wasn't that kind of girl who stayed for long in a place, there were always those little drawbacks that in a way or another made her leave the city. Little problems that could be easily solved disappearing for a while.

Megara smiled. "Me neither. So, tell me, when would you be ready to leave? We can search for it together then." Her only reason to be here  in Lannisport had been to find something out about the murderer of her family. And fortunately she had a mark now. Hopefully those sailors were right...

Ysilla couldn't help but laugh sightly at Megara's excitement.
"Why do you need me anyway?" she passed an hand through her hair "You have just met me..." she smirked at her. Why would she trust her so blindly? If it was Ysilla in her place, she would have never trusted a stranger.
