Time to get back home

"Don´t worry I won´t let you wait too long for my next visit." As most times when Daemon was traveling around for things like trading he made a stop at the tavern to have a break and get in contact with people. You never knew what chances life could offer you. This time homever he left the tavern having drunk hardly any alcohol. There would be enough liqour at Casterly Rock even though Phoebus tries his best to hide it so especially Olenna wouldn´t get to drink it. Olenna, what a sweet young lady. Daemon really loved his youngest niece just as everyone in his family but for her he always looks first for a present.

He looked around the crowds outside the tavern, searching for his family, well two family members welcoming him already in Lannisport. Guess I got a bit more time. He smiled to himself. Just for them he even hurried a bit so they don´t have to come into the tavern what could be quite not the right place for Olenna and now it looked like he had to wait for some more time.

While searching through the crow to caught sight of his cousin, Phoebus was holding Olena's little hand, the two of them walking toward one of Daemon favourites tavern while he secretly hoped that his cousin wasn't drunk yet.

He had always make sure that Olena never saw her uncle drunk, not wanting her to get too interested in the alcohol's magic, as Daemon liked to call it when he was in front of his young niece. And gods, Daemon was really something when he was drunk, Phoebus knew this too well. He looked at his daughter softly, wondering if it had been a good idea to take her along with him. "Are you ready to see your uncle, little Lion ?"

At her nod, he continued his pace until he caught sight of his cousin's stature among the crowd. A relieved sigh escaped his throat as it semed that Daemon was sober for once. As they approached him, a wide smile came on his lips when his cousin finally saw him. His 'brother' was finally home. "Took you long enough to come back home, Daemon !" A mischievous smile replaced his previous one. "Didn't you miss me ?"

Olena was so happy to be in the city with her daddy, holding tight his hand, she was looking excitedly at everything around her. "Yes!" she almost screamed, answering to her dad and nodding energetically.
She was so interested in everything around her: the houses, the people... she didn't leave Castle Black often so everything was new and terribly interesting for her.
When her dad called Daemon's name she wasn't able to see him immediately because of her low stature and the presence of many people between them but, as the crowd moved a bit and she was finally able to see her uncle, she actually screamed in joy and, leaving her daddy's hand, she ran toward her uncle, litterally jumping on him "Uncle Damon! Uncle Damon!"

Daemon was still searching the crowd but he neither saw his cousin nor his dear niece. Just when he thought of going back into the tavern he then suddenly heard a familiar voice and before he knew it he got jumped on by Olenna. With a big smile he lifted the youngest Lannister member up so they could see each other right in the eyes. "Olenna did grow again? If you keep getting more and more lovely I fear I have to help your father defend you from all your admirers." He gave her a gentle laugh. Oh how he loved Olenna. She always made him happy like every family member as far as Daemon could remember. Family members like her were the reason he always couldn´t wait to come home even though he loved to travel the world and get quite the amount of diffrent tastes of all sort of things and especially people.

Only a moment after Olenna reached her uncle, Phoebus arrived in front of them as well and with a sassy grin Daemon replied to him. "Awh you just hurt my feelings. Of course I missed you."
