The Dragon meets the Twins (TAG: Amalthea)

King's Landing was always a place of strong emotions, either because of the political tension that come from the ties formed in it, or because of the importance such a place had come to gain in the vast land of Westeros. Having grown up in an environment of distrust and slight paranoia, Ragnar felt himself adjusted to whatever could come and unfold in the home of Kings and Queens. One did not need to sit on the Iron Throne to have the highest of honors. Sometimes, the little things defined all the epic proportions that could rise from their consequences.

Making his way across the halls, the tal brutish man eyed everything around him with a slight eerie curiosity, never having quite gotten accostumed to his surroundings in the Red Keep. As he passed his large hand on the stone walls, feeling the harsh sensation of the material scratching at his big palm; he came to halt momentarily, his usually twitching eyes narrowing as he heard footsteps. Judging by their light demeanor, he became certain that a woman was to manifest in front of him.

Amalthea was walking through the King's Landing, watching everyone work, teach their children, or girls flirting with the boys they liked. These were some of the things Amalthea liked watching in the early morning. She liked how alive everyone looked before the day would get busy and she would no longer be able to watch. She would have to get to her chores, and make sure they were all done before she could do anything else. But she didn't mind. The lessons she was learning were fascinating. But right now she was focusing on taking her morning stroll before going back to where she needed to be. As she walked, her purple dress flowed behind her with every step she took. Her long, white hair bouncy as she did. And when the wind would blow, her hair would instantly fly with the wind. Something she always enjoyed feeling, the wind in her long beautiful hair made her happy.

Amalthea continued to walk before she heard loud footsteps drawing near her, before stopping. This caused her expression change to a curious one. Did someone hear her coming, making them stop? Or were they going the wrong way and had just realized it? Either way she continued going forward, eager to see who had stopped. By the sound of their footsteps she could easily tell that it was a man. For no woman's feet made such loud steps. So when she turned the corner to see who it was, she immediately saw that it was Ragnar Frey. She took a few more steps before smiling softly as she met his gaze. "Good morning Sir Ragnar, how are you doing this fine morning?" Amalthea asked as she gave him a light curtsy like a good lady should.

He took a step back upon noticing he was dealing with Amalthea Targaryen herself, which made a soft smile calmly grow on his lips as he rubbed his chain in a light, playful manner, his poorly treated nails really standing out as his less than honorable teeth were exposed upon his most curteous smile.
There she was, one of the dragon's children, and albeit she was not an heir of any sorts, she was still a person he had grown to deeply care for and respect, seeing how he had supported the new rise of the Targaryens. It was also nice to notice the mannerisms and the held back and controlled manner she spoke to him. It was refreshing and pleasant to deal with.

"I bid you greetings myself, My Lady." he greeted as he bowed his head briefly, his large frame still being quite a few inches above her. "The Gods treat me kindly today...are you as fortunate as well?"

Amalthea immediately let out a smile when he spoke how the Gods were treating him well. Very glad to hear he was having a good day. More people seem to have less good days and more bad, so hearing this brought joy to her. She stared up at the large man when he asked her if she was having a good day as well. With she immediately bowed her head a little in satisfaction. "They have also treated me kindly. How lucky of us to be having a wonderful day. For these days are rare." She said with truth. Amalthea wasn't the type to sugarcoat things. In fact, she hated when people sugarcoated something. So what if the news was bad? Why lie about something important? It was frustrating and annoying.

She took a moment to smile up at Ragnar, before turning to look at the view they could see from where they were. "So what brings you here today, Sir Ragnar?" Amalthea asked, curious to know why he was up here. She knew it was something good and she wanted to know what it was. Plus she always enjoyed talking to him, to her he was probably the only person that could entertain her. But she also didn't know a lot of people, which is her fault entirely, but such things can't be helped.
