The Big Meeting

Lord commander John Slynt was riding in front of a little group with members of the nights watch. Naerys had managed to arrange a meeting with the man named Thorir and himself. If Thorir agreed to work together with him against the white walkers, then maybe they could end the threat? It wasn't easy to calm the men down once he told everyone his intention. Some of them were furious, but they were silent once John mentioned that Jon Snow had managed to do something like that. He was carrying a package on his back, something to show them his goodwill. His eyes were looking for Naerys, she knew where the meeting would take place.

Naerys was waiting with the others of the free folk who agreed on the meeting for the crows to arrive as well, Norjen standin on her one side Thorir on her other. Trying to put his hand again gently around her waist she gave him a glare. "You know this is more than just an awefull bad moment do you Thorir? Do you want me to break a bone of yours again just now? Would you please be so kind just let go of me!" Obviously disappointed though doing as she said Thorir let go of her to which Naerys sighed in relief. Men. Not only they have been over since long this surely wasn´t the right time to start flirting again, not to mention that she wasn´t interested in him at all anymore but in the lord commander who was finally to see and coming closer with a group of his members right beside as well as behind him.

John finally caught sight of Naerys with some other wildlings. He gave his other men a warning look as they approached. One wrong word and everything would be a disaster. He got of Thunderstruck when they had approached. "Chief Thorir," he began. "I'm grateful that you agreed to come to this meeting!" He sent Naerys a little smile. Seven praise her for making this possible.

Standing next to his sister, Norjen was wondering in what mess Naerys could have get herself into for proposing such meeting with the Crows of the wall. Surely nothing good that is. Especially when he knew her tendency to get in troubles. Repressing a sigh, he crossed his arms on his chest, his face unreadable as ever as he watched the antics of Thorir with his twin, already wishing that he could escape this formal reunion and return in the wild. Spirits, anything to spare him what was to come! And then, they arrived.

The Crows. By the corner of the eyes, he noticed that his sister's behaviour changed slightly as their commander smiled at her and he had to repress a groan of frustration and the desire to hit her on the head, just as when they were younger. What did she get herself into, again? Perhaps it was better if he didn't know. For now at least. She won't escape his questions and to make her aware of it, he shot her a long glare before staring at the crow's chief, almost daring him to show to much friendliness to his sister.

Naerys just ignored her brothers glare. This wasn´t the time to judge her and after all he surely would question her as soon as possible anyways. As John eventually approached them she shortly smiled back, trying not to seem too attached to him.

Thorir was now standing opposite to John, facing him with crossed arms. "Lord commander crow." He greeted him back harshly. Even though he agreed to this meeting, for him it didn´t mean he had to be that nice to the crows after all. Especially when this one in front of him even dared to smile at Naerys, one of his peoples females. "Well we shall see how gratefull we both are going to be once this day came to an end."

What was it with the wildlings calling them crows? John decided to ignore Thorir's harsh voice. "I'm pretty sure that we will come to an agreement before the day is over!" John couldn't let them see that he was a bit unsure. Was this a really good idea at all? "We both share the common enemy, the white walkers. And surely you and your people have noticed that they are getting stronger for each day?"

Thorir just raised a brow. He didn´t know what but something was on this crow he just didn´t like, besides the fact that he was a crow of course. "Of course we have! In case you have forgotten, we have to deal with them every day, at every time!"

A bit annoyed about the tense coldness between the partys Naerys thought it might help to once step in. "How about we discuss about this matter somewhere warmer?"

John realized that this wasn't going to be easy. "We actually have been dealing with them too lately, and we've lost lots of men to them!"

Both John and Thorir looked at Naerys at the same time once she stepped in. It took just a moment before he nodded. Perhaps it would help to not discus this in the open wild?

She smirked at both of them as Thorir agreed with a nod as well. Looking back at the crows as well as at the free folk she saw and felt the tense situation even more before she turned back to the leaders. "See, now you already both have agreed to the same thing. Now you have your start." Leading them both into Thorirs tent which was the biggest and most fitting for this occasion she stopped at it´s entrace and faced the two men again invitingly. "I think both of you have made preperations to easen the start of your dealing haven´t you? Maybe you want to ready them before you head inside?" She told them, hoping they would get her reference to their gifts, before she headed inside first.

John could feel the glares the wildlings were sending them. If Naerys hadn't been here, then everyone would surely kill each other. He waved to one of his men who quickly arrived with some of the packages and they headed inside. "There's been someone who's saying that the wall and the people are in grave danger," John started once he sat down. "The reason is the white walkers, and some winter god. Therefore we should try to work together." John opened one of the packages, a sword made of dragon glass. "This is the only weapon who can kill the white walkers, and we are willing to give you this if you help us."

Naerys secretly smiled as John got her hint, even before Thorir and waited for him to present some goods as well before they both accepted their gifts about which she was more than relieved. However if Thorir wouldn´t have accepted the sword she surely would have hit him and definitely not gently. Maybe she could try to convince John to give her some sharp dragon glass pieces for her arrows later. After all she neither wanted to die nor to depend on anyones personal protection. After she got carried away in her thoughts she eventually returned her attention to the conversation of the leaders who currently were alone in the tent, alone besides her presence of course.

John almost held his breath as he handed the sword over to Thorir, waiting for the chiefs response for this gift.
