Do you believe in the endlessness of the world?

Anne walked along the streets of White Harbor. She had taken the carriage to get to the market place and look for things her youngest daughter might need for the upcoming marriage with the young Tully. Since Damian seemed to feel well enough, she took him with her. Anne didn't want to imprison him in the castle but she didn't want to loose him of an illness either. So for a short trip, she was sure he'll be fine.

It had been a surprise that he survived the plague while her beloved Jane died. Anne surpressed the upcoming tears by this thought. It was over and she had to move on. For the sake of everyone.

They both reached the booths at the harbor and Anne gave Damian a little smile. "Stay close to me, I don't want to loose you in the crowd.", she told him severely, while laying her hand on his shoulder.

Malea was sitting on a chest next to the landing stage she just arrived on with her father. They had been at Lannisport a few days ago, but now went to White Harbor. She sighed. It wasn't that she disliked to travel, indeed it was a lot of fun and she could say that there might be no one else that travelled around that much at her age.

She looked over her shoulder, keeping an eye on her father, making sure he was in sight. She disliked being away from him too far. She disliked when he left her alone for a few hours to get merchandise or trade with customers.

Turning her head back towards the sea, she smiled. The weather was nice and sunny and the endlessness of water fascinated her. Today it was like a mirror. Look inside and you can make your wishes come true. Indeed she knew it was a dangerous place too.

Damian at first has been happy, more than happy, to acompany his mother on a trip away from home even though it were short but that shopping really wasn´t what he had hoped for. So very boring. Well at least he could look at some people and things he wouldn´t see at home at all ... and he could still try to sneak away. "Yes mommy." He replied with an innocent smile.

Damian moved slower and slower getting some distance between them until Anne seemed distracted enough that Damian eventually could go elsewhere. Happily walking through the crowd he enjoyed his new freedom. But what should he do with it now? He looked around, searching for a good opportunity when he eventually spotted a girl just about his age. With quite the sparkle in his eyes he came closer to her, a kind smile on his lips while his hand was waving for short. "Hellow there."

Malea startled when a voice suddenly spoke to her. She turned around and stared slightly frightened at a young boy. Why was he talking to her? No one ever did... "Uhm, hi?", she said stuttering. Her cheeks got rosy and she looked away fast, when she noticed her staring. It was impolite to stare. Malea tried to surpress the urge to run to your father and hide. "H-how are you?", she managed to say. At least he wanted something from her, so it was better to find out and then disappear.

Damian made only few steps closer therefore still leaving the girl enough space though being close enough to have a proper conversation. Raising his brows in suprise by the shyness of the one in front of him he moved to see her face better. How cute she was though a little very red in her face. Worried he eventually approached her placing a hand on her forehead in order to feel her temperature like his mother did, quite often and therefore rather to Damians dislike. "I´m fine but what about you? Are you alright?"

Malae tightened, shocked by his gesture. His hand on her forehead made her blush even more. "Uh, uhm I'm fine.", she managed to say. Why was he so... like this? Did she do something wrong? She felt the urge to run away rising. "D-did I do something wrong?", she moved uncomfortably on her seat. She hated to be rude to someone, though she couldn't say what she might have done to be treated like this.

Reliefed that the girl didn´t seem to have a fever he backed off. "No not at all. I´m glad you´re alright though." He replied with a smile. "What brings you here though? I have never seen you before and according your clothes you don´t seem to be a common girl."

When he took a few steps away from her, Malea sighed slightly relieved. Not that she disliked talking to someone, but strangers coming so close made her feel so uncomfortable. She thought about his question and the moment of silence started to become rude to her, she finally opened her mouth and answered. "My father...", she bit her lower lip. "My father is travelling a lot. He decided to come here next, that's why I'm here now.", she gave the boy in front of her a shy warm smile.

"Oh really?" His eyes were sparkleing. Since his bad health he had to stay inside and definitely at least near home for almost all the time in his life so something like travelling around was far out of his reach and therefore something he desired and dreamed about quite a lot. "You really are lucky. I wish I could travel too. Would you ... would you maybe tell me something about your travels and the places you have seen?"

Malea tilted her head and looked at him. He didn't travel? She moved a bit so he could sit next to her on the chest. "What do you want to know? Daddy mostly takes the sea routes to get from market to market...", she bit her lower lip. "Storms are scary on the ship, but on sunny days it's a nice view, but gets rather boring."

With a big grin he took her offer and sat down next to the girl. "Uuuuuh that sounds really exciting! I have even hardly seen the sea, not to speak of travelling by ship ... though I guessed I haven´t missed that much have I?" What he wanted to know? Oh there surely was a lot Damian was eager to be told about but where to start? He kept quiet for some time, thinking about what would be most important or rather what he desired most to know since he might not have too much time and occasions left to ask. "What was the place like you liked most and which is it?"

"The place I like the most...", Malea tilted her head and thought. Normally she liked every place her father was with her. There was no special place... "I like the harbours in Braavos.", she of nally answered. "There are always so many different cultures. On other markets it's the same, but there it's more extreme.", she gave him awarm and shy smile.
