Event #1// The Coronation of Queen Marina Targaryen

You are invited to attend the crowning of the next queen Marina Targaryen only a few days after the former queen Daenerys Targaryen passed away peacefully in her sleep. All houses of name traveled to King´s Landing to watch the ceremony, make their vows and enjoy the party as well as for personal reasons. The Great Hall is open and awaits it´s guests as well as the queen to appear.

The Witch Doctor entered the filled room with wonder. She'd never seen such exquisite decorations, and she'd only been in this land a short while and was already very impressed. She'd been here once before, and that was for the crowning of the family prior to Targaryen.

Surely witnessing two coronation in one lifetime is a testament to my age. She thought to herself.

The Witch Doctor scanned the room carefully, finding great joy in seeing small, un-noble families smiling and speaking to each other in curiosity. Seeing others with joy in their eyes only brought brighter light into hers.

If only the entire world could be so peaceful.

Sinbad glanced around the Great Hall, not thinking much of the nobles and un-nobles interacting with each other. These weren't really his kind of lot to converse with. And he wasn't really here to chit-chat. The second in line to the House Greyjoy had been dragged here by his older brother, Naveen Greyjoy who had lessened Sinbad's annoyance with the mention of alcohol. If he was going to be stuck here while waiting for some female getting crowned as the Queen, Sinbad was going to try and get some fun out of this event.

His dark blue eyes landed on the buffet table, immediately searching for the sight of any signs of alcohol. He smirked darkly at the sight of the wine, quickly strolling over to the table. One of the servants immediately filled a goblet with the wine before handing it to him. Sinbad flashed the male servant a flirtatious grin before walking away, satisfied at seeing the servant flush a bit at this. There were plenty of attractive people at King's landing, which pleased the young Greyjoy a bit more. The servants were very much different than the one's they had back at the Iron islands. He couldn't help but be tempted by this fact.

Sinbad glanced down at his goblet for a second before drinking from it, his throat that had be quenching with thirst for alcohol so now it felt so refreshed from the wine. "I wonder if Naveen needs a drink before the coronation," he chuckled under his breath, knowing that his brother had to make a speech or something along the lines of that for the Coronation. Or was it vowing their house to the soon to be Queen. Sinbad couldn't remember since stuff like that really didn't interest him in the slightest. But he had a slight feeling that a drink would be either a relief or an annoyance to his brother, who was a little more uptight due to being proclaimed as the the new head of the Greyjoy house.

After losing Sinbad within the enormous hall, Naveen stood leaning against a wall with wine in his hand that he hadn't even touched. He had flirted around a little bit with some of the servants, another method he always found efficient in taking his mind off of things. Normally, he wasn't one to care for formal events like this, but he found himself a part of the Queen's Small Council and a newly appointed Lord of House Greyjoy. It was a stark difference, but it was now a part of his life he had to get used to now. If he wanted to try to give the Greyjoys a better light then trying to change his brother's stubborn attitude would be one of the steps, along the way somewhere. Seeing him from out of the corner of his eye, he raised an eyebrow.

Huffing, Naveen rolled his eyes as he began walking towards his brother, who unsurprisingly had already gotten his hands on some wine. Coming up from behind Sinbad, he flicked him lightly in the back of his head, making him flinch a little bit. "Is this what you normally do for fun? Talk about me? I'm flattered." Naveen grinned as he stood next to him, crossing his arms. Things were happening so fast and there weren't many places he could go for an answer. Furrowing his eyebrows, he let out a frustrated groan. "But hell, do I." He said before taking a small swig from his glass of wine.

"Sorry, but excuse me. I haven't been feeling well that much today." It was the truth. Phillip gave the crowd, that he was conversing with, a small sweet smile before excusing himself from the conversation to have some time to himself. As much as he loved chatting with others and learning about new things through gossip, Phillip was not really in the mood for such. Today was the coronation of Marine Targaryen. The Queen that he was to make a vow to like the other head of the houses were to do. It really felt like something was pressing onto his shoulders, very much like a rock. He wasn't that sure if it was due to his father's death and his mother's depart to travel. That was what she had said to Phillip, but kind of felt that she meant something else by that. Or was it because he was now the current head of the Baratheon House? Phillip thought to himself as the crowd took his polite excuse and left him be.

He sighed softly as he safety got away from the crowd and soon began to observe the Great Hall. His gaze fell upon the throne instantly, causing Phillip to remember about the stories of his grandfather, Robert Baratheon. His mother didn't really take notice of the king, since she had been more absorbed with being trained in swordsmanship. But she did remember some stories told about Robert by her father. But Phillip only took more interest in gossip about his grandfather. Not liking what he heard in the least. But at least he wasn't compared to him, being mostly compared to Renly Baratheon, the younger brother to Robert.

As he gazed upon the throne once again, Phillip hoped to himself that Marina was going be a dedicated ruler such as Daenerys Targaryen. That throne was very much prone to cause even decent rulers to fall. From the history that Phillip had learned, it didn't seem right that his Baratheon grandfather had been the king after the Mad king's death. Not much of a transition even though the circumstances were different with how they reigned. Then it just transitioned worsened with the King Joffrey. Slightly better with Tommen Baratheon, although he was more of a puppet. But Daenerys was decent, so hopefully Marina would be as well. Phillip was going to make sure of this though, especially since he was now on her council as the Master of Laws. He intended for it to stay that way during her reign.

Soma caressed the young male's servant's cheek in a feather-like motion before pulling it back. He whispered softly into the male's ear before pulling back and strolling away from the flustered servant. He felt the eyes of a few people who had witnessed his casual bold flirting, giving them a seductive smirk. "Being bold really brings out their cuteness." he murmured to himself, snickering a bit as the people had turned their head quickly away in embarrassment and disgust. Oh like they haven't done worse scandalous things in a brothel or tavern. He shouldn't be so judgmental of the people here, since the lifestyle in Dorne was a bit different than in King's Landing. But at least loosen a bit up. This was a celebration, was it not?

He was heading over to the buffet table before two guests had caught his interest in the corner of his eye. Soma looked over at the two, to see them clearly. Immediately taking a liking to what he was seeing. "Oh? The Greyjoy brothers? Such a treat. A shame though that the sister isn't present yet." Soma murmured, a bit disappointed at not seeing the completed trio, but he'd do well with only the two. He had always enjoyed the Greyjoys sibling relationship, finding them very cute with theirs antics toward one another. Sinbad was the Greyjoy that Soma knew of the most due to their delightful meetings. Lets say they both benefited from each other. But Soma was mostly zoned in on the eldest Greyjoy. Although Naveen was a bit nervous and uncomfortable around Soma, it just looked so cute to him rather than disappointing.

Soma smirked lightly before striding over toward the two brothers, slinging his arm around the eldest Greyjoy's shoulder. "Wonderful to see the Greyjoy duo here! In good spirits as well!" he exclaimed, flashing Sinbad a smile before side glancing at Naveen, his smile turning into a seductive smirk. "Better go easy on the wine, dear Naveen." he commented in an amused tone.

Kayley had never really been anywhere outside of Winterfell before. So going to a place like King's Landing was a huge change. The colors here were certainly brighter, and it was so warm. Kayley wondered how everyone didn't shrivel up from the heat. But when she walked inside the Great Hall, she couldn't help but stare at it in wonder, her mouth slightly agape. It was so big, it could probably hold everyone in the Seven Kingdoms. However, she became so lost in looking at the place that she realized she had strayed away from her parents. "Shoot," she muttered, peering over people's heads as she tried to find them again.

Odette was propped up against a wall, observing. She'd managed to slip away from her brother and took time to appreciate her temporary independence. She chuckled to herself, noticing the difference between the North and South. The women did wear their hair oddly. Her eyes drifted around the room until they fell upon the Stark girl. She sucked her teeth in pity. "Flailing around like a lost pup." A look of disgust washed over her. Where there was one stark there was a whole pack of them.  She fantasized for a moment about strolling over and slitting the child's throat- but she thought better. Violence would surely get her kicked out of the party and she didn't want to miss out on that.  She'd just have to stir up trouble another way.

She tucked the House Bolton pendant that was around her neck into her chest and painted on a fake smile, strolling over and placing a hand on Kayley's shoulder. "Are you lost, little one?"  She purred with extremely authentic sweetness.

Megara stalked through the crowds of the Great Hall trying her best to look interested, but the emotion was not at home on her face. It didn't help that she was already annoyed either; some guard had told her to leave her dogs outside and that was simply unacceptable. It was no secret that Megara Clegane was never without a least a few dogs at her heels. The guard had relented of course and Megara's dogs were with her, but giving a tongue lashing was not a good way to start an evening. What was worse, however, was having to watch these people act like children given too much freedom. A servant offers her a goblet of wine, which Megara takes politely and then idly thanks the servant, who stares at her as if that was the most bizarre thing that's happened all night.

Madeline walked in the Great Hall, every time she went in King's Landing she couldn't help but be amazed by the magnificence of the place. She knew that once King's Landing was also the Lannister's home, at the times of king Robert Baratheon and then his son Joffrey. Be in the same place of her ancestor always made her wonder how the life there could have been, since Maddie used to spend most of her time at Casterly Rock.
She moved her look around in the hall, everything was ready for the coronation and everyone was there; a lot of people actually. Maddie moved her look to see if she could spot Rose or Tulio between the crowd. She would have loved to spend that important moment with her sister, but it seemed that she was disappeared in throng.
Madeline absentmindedly took a glass of wine from a servant while looking for Rose, she didn't use to drink alcohol and when Maddie took a sip of it she couldn't help but made a face.
"What is this?!" she asked to herself trying to hide her disgusted face.

Garrett entered the Great Hall with his brother Cedric, the symbol of the Mormont sewn wisely on his chest. As he and Cedric took a few steps inside he immediately noticed the look that someone of the other guests gave at them: gave birth at twins was actually rare and it was from the times of Cersei and Jaime Lannister that a couple of twins was seen in King's Landing. He didn't like when people added at them as the Mormont's twins, it sounded like they were some sort of freaks.
Garrett sighed and turned to his brother, who gave him a light nudge and pointed to the direction of the looks waving his hand at the people who were staring. Garrett couldn't help but laughed and waved his hand too.
"Come on!" he smiled to Cedric wrapping an arm around his shoulders "We have a coronation to attend." and both moved to look for their family.

Coming to King's Landing was always a bit unsettling. Granted, Proteus had been there only a handful of times in his life but the feeling of the Stark history within the Red Keep's walls kept him off balance somewhat. His great-grandfather and great uncle had both died in the very hall he was standing in, and his grandfather had been beheaded as a traitor on the steps of the Great Sept not far away. Clutching Juliana's arm tighter, he reminded himself with was just history. Such things would not be repeated so long as they were remembered. Pushing aside his feelings, he looked down at his wife and smiled. "I must say, you are looking radiant, love." he told her. He was grateful she'd come with him. Her presence always steadied. "The loveliest in the room, as always."

Cedric followed his brother in the Great Hall, it was the first time for both of them in King's Landing and contrary to Garrett, Cedric was totally captured by the magnificence of that place: it was huge, decorated for the great event and full of people, if their 'castle' on Bear Island would be compared to this one, their was on a par with a pile of wood!
He slowly moved his look from the hall to the people in it; noticing, like his brother, the ones who were staring. He smiled and gave a light nudge at Garrett waving his hand and laughing. He didn't really care what people thought on them, but he knew that Garrett couldn't stand those kind of 'attentions' so Cedric tried always his best to cheer him up a little.
When finally they managed to get away those looks Cedric patted his brother's hand when he wrapped him "Of course.." he chuckled sightly freeing himself from Garrett.
"After you..." he laughed making a fake bow.

Lina arrived a bit after her brothers, feeling incredibly uncomfortable in her dress, with her family's insignia on it, and in Greyjoy colors. She didn't mind that so much as she minded the dress itself. She couldn't breathe in it! And the skirt kept getting in the way of her stride. Her curly hair also felt odd, done in an intricate bun and the ornaments were not appreciated. And with the make-up, she felt stupid. Lina felt very much like a fish out of water.

The young woman walked carefully into the hall, looking at the finery with appreciation. Just because she didn't dress pretty didn't mean she didn't know pretty things when she saw them. Lina took a deep breath and raised her head high; She was Lady Lina Greyjoy. She could do this. She continued walking carefully in the dress, ignoring looks that were directed her way now and then.

Eventually, she found her brothers, and Soma. Lina folded her arms at the man. "Not goading my brothers into causing trouble, are you?" She might have been the youngest, but she was the most down to earth. If her brothers embarrassed the family at this important event, she'd kill them for being idiots, and then Soma because he'd probably be involved somehow. Most likely the "somehow" was really "someone", and there was no doubt in her mind that was Sinbad.

Belina couldn't stop staring at everything. She knew from others' descriptions that the Red Keep was magnificent and colossal, but she found their tales lacking. Starfall was still a glorious sight to behold as well, though King's Landing dwarfed it in almost every way imaginable. She stuck to the walls as she always did in unfamiliar surroundings, and simply watched the people while her parents mingled elsewhere. The people around her dressed so nicely that she felt plain in comparison. It really was like the songs and stories that her septa taught her, like Florian and Jonquil. And so many handsome lads, the knights and heroes of her daydreams made flesh! This coronation would exceed her first imaginings.

Belina blinked when a servant offered her a glass of Arbor gold. She glanced around for sign of her parents, but found nothing of them. Well, if she could finish it before they returned... She thanked the servant politely as she took the wineglass and took a sip, returning to watching the crowd with avid interest.

Madeline took a few steps with the wineglass in her hands "And now?" she mumbled to herself looking for a place were to put it, she didn't want to look like a 'loser', like someone who couldn't even stand alcohol! Rose used to drink wine, why couldn't Maddie too?
She glanced at her glass again and took another sip "Nah!" No, it didn't work! The savor was still disgusting! Madeline moved away the glass from her mouth, maybe too fast and impulsively that some drops fell on a young girl who was standing next to her, she was probably about her age and had a glass of the same wine in her hands.
Maddie raised an hand to her mouth "I'm sorry.." she said coming closer to the girl "It was an accident..."

Giselle had kept with most of the other Starks when they first arrived, but she managed to slip away from them and explore the rest of the Great Hall. She hadn't visited many other Halls besides a few Northern houses, but this one rivaled them all with the grandness of it all. The Iron Throne was quite a sight to see as well, and it was enthralling that the coronation was for a Queen who only had a few more years to her belt than her. There was so much history in here.

As she walked around, taking in every part of the hall, she found herself nearby a lady with a few dogs at her heels. She was surprised they were allowed inside, but that didn't stop Giselle from coming up to her and clasping her hands together with a wide smile. "What cute dogs!" All types of animals always held a special place in Giselle's heart, even if some may appear a little "off-putting" to the normal crowd. "May I?" She asked as she bent down to get closer to their faces.

Belina was in the middle of admiring (or rather envying) the lovely hairstyles of a couple of noble ladies when she felt something spill onto her. "Eee!" she squeaked, nearly spilling her own drink. She faced a girl no older than herself. "Oh, it's quite alright. No harm done." she said quietly, looking down at her own skirts. Her dress was a dark purple and barely showed the wine drops. Hardly anything to worry about. "Beg pardon, but might I ask your name, my lady?"

Madeline was looking for her handkerchief to clean a little those flecks when the girl spoke quietly making her stop her research, in a dress with no pockets how could she lose a handkerchief?
"Madeline Lannister, my lady.." Maddie smiled at the girl and bowed sightly "In King's Landing for the coron..." she stopped herself, everyone was there for the coronation!
"Well..." she smiled "I'm here for the same reasons as everyone else." she pointed at the crowd around them.

Naveen glanced over to see Soma coming over. Oh great,  he thought to himself. The man himself had certain qualities that Naveen didn't mind so much, but something about him always scared him a little bit. But he hung around Sinbad sometimes, so they had met before. "Soma," he greeted him with a nod of his head as he lowered the drink from his lips. "You underestimate the Greyjoy blood, dear." He said with a half-smirk. Naveen himself didn't plan to drink much more as he didn't want to embarrass the family, especially in front of all of these other houses.

Almost after Soma dropped by, Lina seemed to join them. He chuckled a little bit as Lina walked towards them. "Lina, looking lovely as ever." He smirked, aware of how she disliked dresses like that. But it was also meant as a compliment too, she did look rather nice. Although, he did prefer her usual-self more.

'Lannister? Oh my.' Belina hadn't thought she'd encounter a member of such a powerful and house. Luckily she remembered her courtesies and curtsied. "Pleased to make your acquaintance. I am Belina of House Dayne of Starfall, youngest of Lord Donal and Lady Jeyne." Her septa would be proud of her. She'd ever been a picture of courtesy and grace as one of nobility was expected to be. She held back a chuckle at the girl's words, thinking perhaps Madeline would find it mocking. "Yes, it's quite the gathering. I hadn't expected it to be...quite so crowded, especially with the size of the Keep."

Sinbad was enjoying some of his wine, before flinching at the feeling of a flick to the back of his head. He brought his free hand up to it, rubbing it slightly before turning around to face his older brother. Sinbad rolled his eyes at his brother’s comments, feeling a bit embarrassed and irritated that the male had heard him. “Oh yes. My favorite hobby is talking about you. How did you ever know?” Sinbad sarcastically remarked, snickering a bit as Naveen took a small swig from his glass. “Heh. At least I guess right about the drink.” Sinbad added in an amused chuckle.

He blinked in surprise to see the Prince Soma slinging his arm around Naveen’s shoulders, biting his lip to keep from snickering more. “Always in good spirits when there is alcohol provided for free,” he smirked, raising his goblet slightly as he said this. It was the big reason to why he was here. Another reason was to see the new Queen’s beauty. Also Sinbad wouldn’t miss seeing Soma flirting with his brother, it was amusing. Sinbad grinned slightly with a bit of pride at what his brother had commented to the Martell Head, who had teased the eldest Greyjoy about his wine. Shortly after this, he turned to see his sister strolling up to the trio.

“Trouble sounds fun about now. Not sure if Naveen’s up for it though,” Sinbad motioned his head at Naveen, who still had the Martell’s arm around his shoulder. Then he tilted his head as he took in his sister’s appearance. She was looking quite lovely in that dress. But it still felt a bit strange to see his sister all dressed up.

Megara finds herself suddenly startled out of her thoughts by the company of another girl. She blinks trying to figure out if she'd heard right; no one had ever called her dogs cute. In light of the attention, however, the silly beasts forget they're supposed to be brutes and wag their tails like puppies. "Of course," she answers and then remembers her manners. "I'm Megara Clegane and you are?"

Kayley jumped slightly when she felt a hand on her shoulder. She turned around to see that it was a woman, with elegant clothes and long blonde hair. Kayley wondered what house she was from. She felt like most of the time, people were proud to show off their family symbol. Then again, she had seen few other families besides the Starks in her lifetime. "Um, sort of, I guess," she replied. "Kind of embarrassing, to lose your way within five seconds of entering a room." She gave a little laugh, hoping she didn't look entirely foolish. The last thing she wanted to do was for everyone to see her as some naive little Stark girl who couldn't take care of herself.

Giselle smiled excitingly as the dogs began wagging their tails and she pet them, and laughing when they lick her face. As the woman spoke, she looked up to her and immediately jumped back up. She was a Clegane! She had never met one before, she had heard that the family seemed to be very small these days. "Oh! Where are my manners?" She apologizes, fixing her hair a little bit after the dogs. With a ladylike bow, she smiles. "Giselle Snow, of Winterfell."
