Similarity In A Stranger - Page 2 Empty
PostSubject: Re: Similarity In A Stranger    Similarity In A Stranger - Page 2 EmptySat Aug 09, 2014 4:36 pm

Giselle pouted again, a little disappointed once more. "Well, we never know unless we try." Elphie listened quietly to San's words, tilting her head more in thought. Direwolves were much smarter than the average wolf, so she was sure that Elphie might have understood what San was saying. Giselle as well understood her viewpoint and kept that thought in her mind for a while. Bowing her head in what felt like defeat, she pursed her lips. Elphie nuzzled her to comfort her before lounging down in the grass lazily. However, the young girl's head perked up a little bit at San's last statement. "The wolf pack, are you all beyond the wall?"

"Wolf mother found crack in wall... took pack many moons ago, live in great woods, prey is good here. San leads wolf hunt, slow fat human packs easy hunt bleating four legs make good food. Humans not for food, when they smart and hide in den wolf pack lets them be. Shiny turtle humans stupid, attack wolf clan, get eaten. Mother teaches wolf pack how to rip off shells." Nodding her head at that before stopping for a moment looking to Giselle ".... you stupid human or smart human? stupid human get mad, tell other humans San is here.... smart human learn, see wolf pack not tell other humans, smells like wolf so wolf pack does not eat"

It was kind of hard to understand everything San was saying, but Giselle felt as though she understood a general gist. It seemed like they only harmed aggressors, like hunters. The attitude she felt towards human was understandable, although some of it sat a little oddly with her. "I won't tell," she nodded. "But there's still so much more I'd love to learn." Giselle says as she stands to look up at San before she leaves.

San nodded before moving around Giselle on wolf back circling ".... when little wolf tires of human pack" she reached up removing her earring letting it jingle in the wind handing it over to Giselle "bring this to forest... hang on tree, if San near, she hear and bring little wolf where it might belong" nodding her head at that sharply like she had made up her mind about something.

"If you try trap San, human child best get sharper teeth or die"

Giselle felt another twinge of fear as she was circled by the wolf, but it was a different kind of fear than she had felt when they had first met. She held the earring carefully and seized it tightly. She knew that later she would replay this conversation over and over in her head, thinking about it a lot. "O-okay," she said simply. Inspecting the earring a little bit more, Giselle looked up immediately to make sure she caught San before she left. "My offer still stands for you at Winterfell, if you ever change your mind. I think people can surprise you sometimes."

The earring was a weird white polished stone that jingled in the wind, it's twin on San's ear as she looked at her. San merely snorted "Human pack hunt wolf pack.... human child may not care she is human... but the human pack is cold, left San to die as pup... wolf pack would never do so to pup, even pup it does not know" nodding her head at that before lowering her mask giving herself the frightening image of some kind of forest spirit or demon once again "I shall ask wolf mother to stay in false wolf lands longer..." with that she took off upon the back of the large dire wolf without another word letting out a loud howl. The pair soon joined by the wolf from earlier all three disappearing into the thickness of the woods.

Giselle listened to San speak and then watched her as she rode away, her breath a lot louder than she thought. Swallowing a lump in her throat, she looked back to Elphie, who was rolled over in the grass lazily. She smiled weakly and picked the berries she had came for before sitting down with the direwolf. "...Oh Elphie, what do you think about all of this?"

Elphie looked up at Giselle before showing her teeth in a big yawn and then resting her head in her lap. With a smile, Giselle leaned her back against the tree behind her and pet the direwolf's fur. "Yeah, me too." She closed her eyes and clutched the earring, reflecting on the encounter with San the wolf-rider.
