Things Is Getting Serious - Tag Naerys

John was sleeping by Naerys side. He held her close to him like he was protecting her from the dangers outside in the world. He really was clueless with what to do with Naerys. Since she was with his child, he didn't want to send her back into the wild and there would defiantly be a risk if she stayed here at the castle. He snuggled her in his sleep, digging his face into her hair. But that peace didn't last forever as he heard his steward knock at his door. "Lord commander! Lord commander! Lord Commander!" John almost growled as he crawled out of his bed and opened the door. "What steward? What steward? What steward?" John growled back. The poor boy looked like he was in shock. "Th-the-there's a dragon sitting on the top of the wall!" he stammered. Now he had heard this too. "You're sure you haven't gotten drunk?" John asked sceptical. The steward shook his head. "Just look, please!" And John walked toward the window and peeked out and his eyes went big. Indeed there was a red dragon sitting there. "By the seven!" he said shocked before he dressed himself and hurried out.

Zevran was sitting on the top off the wall and peeked around into the wild. He had decided to check out the North and see how big the threat of those white walkers was. Peaple back in King's Landing seemed to be more hysterical these days, so Zevran wanted to see for himself. For now, there was just silent, but he could smell it in the cold air. Fear and wonder from the men at the wall. And death somewhere out there in the wild.

Naerys was still sleepy when the stewart disturbed her peacefull sleep but suddenly was wide awake the moment a dragon was mentioned. Her mother once told her about some ancient legends of dragons and other mystical creatures but they have disappeared ages ago. As fast as she could Naerys got out of the bed as well and dressed before she hurried after John.

John just got outside to the yard and stared wide eyed at the big majestic creature sitting there at the top. What was it doing there? Was it hunting? Or maybe sent by the queen? He got the glimpse off Naerys coming by his side and her hawk joining as well. "The bird is staying inside," he said and pointed at Minha. "You don't want her to be the meal to that dragon!"

The moment Naerys got outside, Minha joined her and landed on her shoulder when they reached John in front of the dragon. At his warning however Minha just gave him an angry glare before she flew right towards the dragon while Naerys had to chuckle a little. "You know that she surely hardly takes adivice or even commands from any other person besides me right`?"

"Don't blame me if she gets grilled," John replied and looked up. He had to get closer to that dragon and hurried toward the cage that lifted people up. Naerys couldn't be stopped and they got both lifted up to the top.

Zevran just ignored the humans down there in the yard. It wasn't often people had seen dragons before. But then a hawk just appeared in front of him, staring curious at him. Luckily for her, Zevran had eaten a while ago, taking a deer on the way. So he just stared back at the little creature who sat on his nose. "You're little and stubborn aren't you?" he asked. The hawk cried back at him. He then heard someone approach toward him, both male and female. He looked at the side for a moment, then looked back at John again. Zevran blinked confused. He did look like Reth. Expect from the hair, skin and eyes. Could it be that Reth had a twin brother?

"She is MY hawk remember? I´m sure she will do f-" Naerys said as she eventually was left for words once they reached the top and had the dragon right in front of them. For a moment she froze in her movement, being captivated by the sight and even a little frightened.

However Minha on the other side tried to actually have a conversation with the big bird withought any feathers who yet got a big minus point for her liking. After all the wasn´t stubborn at all but a brave hawk!

Zevran grinned at the hawk. She obviously didn't like that he said she was stubborn. "All right. Sorry. You're a very brave hawk." This was the first time he actually had a conversation with other animals. He was more used to talk to his mama, others in the family and other dragons. Though they didn't speak the human tongue as he did. Zevran did take a new look at Reth's look a like person. They were so like. He lowered his head and took a closer look at John. "Do you have twin brother or something?" Zevran finally asked. John seemed to be in shock. "Huh?" John replied. Did the dragon just talk? "Uhm, no." John finally said. "Are you sure? You just look exactly like the Hand in King's Landing!" Zevran said.

Minha screamed appreciatingly at the dragon before she turned her attention to John as well and cornered her eyes at him. Did he dare to have a secret second life?

"Is there anything I should know about lord commander?" Naerys said curious yet a little angry, forgetting for a moment that a real life living dragon was just in front of her.

John could feel the daggers from Minha and Naerys. Why did the dragon have to say that? "For the Sevens sake, I don't have a twin brother. I don't have any brothers. Just cousins!" Zevran was still not convinced. Maybe he should ask Reth when he returned to King's Landing? But John had to wonder. How come that the dragon spoke the common tongue? He looked up at the dragon again. "But what brings you here?" John asked. "Did the queen send you here?" Zevran looked back at him. "No, my mama didn't send me. But I wanted to see how it was here with the White Walkers threat," Zevran replied. John was clearly disappointed that the queen hadn't sent him.

"That is actually not exactly what I meant." She went on, slowly getting more angry. However soon enough the dragon himself captured their attentions back again. "Well it surely would be better if we would have more fire power."

"I don't live two lives. That's impossible!" John replied angry. He couldn't exactly live two places at once. One here and the other in King's Landing. That was to impossible!

Zevran almost backed away from them. "Are they always like this?" he whispered to Minha. But then he stiffened. He turned his eyes back into the wild like he heard something. It seemed like there was a thick fog far away. And something didn't smell right. Death. Heading this way. And it was fast.
