| "She's telling the truth!" John said trying to calm the situation down. "If she hadn't helped us, then we all would be dead right now." "How can you be so sure about that commander?" | |

| Instinctly Naerys crossed her arms and glanced at John. Give me a good reason not to kill him! Turning back to the crow she groaled. | |

| "Thanks to her, we actually found the missing rangers," John started and crossed his arms as well. "All of them were dead. Killed by the white walkers!" But it seemed that it wasn't enough reason. "Are you sure that it wasn't the wildlings who did it?" John replied by punching him in the face. How dared he doubting the commander? | |

| She smirked wickedly at the punch and was even close to laugh. Even if she still hadn´t too much trust and believe in most of the crows, their commander on the other hand surely was to her liking and the power he had over his companions wasn´t even the biggest reason. "You really weren´t born that smart were you? Cuz if you was you wouldn´t be that dump and blind for the obvious. Also why on earth should my people set up a trap when my life is danger then as well?" | |

| He gave Naerys a warning look. Be careful with your words! He couldn't let it be a another fight to death. At least not today. "We should gather the parts and burn our fallen members!" There was a mumbling among the members, but they did as he said. Finding the body parts and gathered some wood to make a fire. It took a while, but when they lit up the fire John had to lead the funeral with the words: "And now his watch is ended." | |

| Naerys watched the funeral with some distance between herself and the crows. After the crows weren´t her people and she wasn´t one of them and since she didn´t even know the ones that died at this place, why actually attending this ceremony? Still she was curious about the traditions of the crows so she at least listened to the words that were spoken while she packed her things back where they belonged and took care of her bows and arrows before she approached the group after some time had passed and there wasn´t much left but burned flesh and ash of the corpses. "I´m sorry for your companions, may they find peace." | |

| The funereal was over. Now they had to go back to the wall and he had to send letters to the family's of the lost ones. They deserved to know that they were dead. John sent Naerys a smile when she condoled with his companions. He started walking with her by his side, making sure that they stayed behind to make sure that no other else would hear them talking. "Have you managed to get some more information from last time?" | |

| Even though they were now finally leaving this place of recent death, Naerys still felt uncomfortable. Why? Cuz even or maybe because she was walking at Johns side with some distance between them and the other crows she was getting quite the disturbing glares every now and then. However at the same time she was able to feel the safety coming from the commander so she hadn´t too much trouble to have a proper conversation with him. "Hardly. Still I was able to get to talk to two other greenseekers. But they couldn´t tell me anything of importance besides that they have a growing feeling of a disaster to come. Well since we don´t have a giant wall between us and the white walkers my people secretly tend to be born with that feeling though due the fear. Have you talked to your greenseeker yourself yet though? I don´t know if she really has that special gift or not but I wouldn´t risk to completely ignore it if I was you." | |

| John remained silent. He actually didn't seek out Nita Reed, the girl that the queen told about. But he wasn't sure if he just could leave the wall right away. He was the commander and had responsibilities here. And Greywater Watch was in the Neck, a long way from the wall and the journey would take a month at least. But maybe he could send someone else there? | |

| Patiently Naerys had waited for some time now to hear a reply. Since John still hasn´t spoken though she moved closer to him for short and touched him at his arm. "Something wrong? You have been quiet for quite a while." | |

| "I was just thinking," John replied gently. "Truth to be told, I haven't talked to the girl who said she had that vision. But maybe I should." | |

| She rolled her eyes. Really John? "Oh you definitely should. Well unless you want me to talk to her." She replied with a wink at him. "Anyways, unless there is nothing else you want to talk about right now I think we should better seperate before gossip starts to spread between your fellows." | |

| "I just can't leave the wall," he said. "The journey will take a month at least to get there, but I could always send another one." He looked quickly at the other members before he nodded. It was probably best to separate. | |

| "Oh you don´t have to tell that to me." She said, quiet though with a chuckle. "Well then, it was good to see you again. So in case you have the need to seek me again for information, ooooor some fun feel free to stop at the hot spring though I´m almost sure we will meet again not to far away in the future my dear commander." With everything said she left the group, only turning back once to give John a seducive smirk before she left for good for that day and let the crows eventually return to their beloved wall. | |
