I am NOT jealous!

Sorting the documents in her hands Marina was just about to knock at Reths door when she heard some females voice, chuckling and obviously enjoying herself. Urgh! Why, just why does it ALWAYS have to be like this you stupid womanizer. She was just about to turn her right hand into a fist when she let go and sighed. After all it would be no use to get angry about Reth and whoever was inside there having fun with him. Still she indeed was highly annoyed, not to say angry and over all ... sad and insecure. As she remembered her manners - though she had no personal need to go with them - she eventually knocked at the door and entered shortly after as Reth invited her inside. With a small polite smile she approached Reth and his company and watched her happily disappear. However once Marina and Reth were alone she turned to him, her hands on her hips while raising a brow. "Seriously?"

Reth was in his room, spending some 'quality time' with a maid... actually only just flirting with her and drinking some sweet wine. He was quite in a good mood. He had Marina again, his uncle wrote a letter to him and he could easily push his problems to a more convenient time. Then suddenly he heard a knock on the door. He rolled his eyes: who could that be now? As he heard Marina's voice, though, his annoyed expression turned into a wicked smile: he invited her to come in, letting the maid leave before he approached the queen. At her attitude, though, he simply chuckled amused and shrugged "So, what can I do for you?"

Instinctly her smile turned into a quite angry pout as she looked away and mumbled. "How about stop screwing permanentely the female staff?" Quickly turning her attention back at Reth before the situation gets out of hand she tried to remember what she came here for actually. Was it work? Was it for sex? Was it for advice? Was it just because she seeked his simply presence?

He was quite surprised to see her reaction, he rose his eyebrows staring at her, unsure wether to be surprised, upset or amused "What exactly is the problem?" he asked approaching her, trying to be calm and gentle

As he got closer her memory immediately came back. "Eh I got some new reports who just came in which I wanted to discuss with you."

Reth frowned: now her matters could wait just a little bit, but he had to know what was wrong with her: it wasn't even the first time she reacted in such a way "No, tell me" and suddenly the thought stuck him "does it bother you that I spend my time with other?" he asked in disbelief

She flinched as well did her eyes widen in suprise. Was she really that easy to read? Or was he just good to read her? "Pffffft no, of coursse not. Why should it? Now if you mind to go back to something more important." Obviously trying to avoid a true answer she tried to change the subject.

She definitely overreacted at his words. WIth a little smirk he took her chin with two fingers and gently forced her to look at him in the eyes "I don' know. Why should it?"

Finding her chin in the grip of two of his fingers Marina could feel her flight instinct start to occur. She wanted to be honest with him, she really did, to tell him how she felt, how mad she was having to share him and also with so many. "I eh ... uhm ... next question!" She eventually replied as she pushed him away though gently.

He narrowed his eyes at her attempt to avoid his question and to push him away, and as she tried to push him he instead pulled her closer, putting a hand round her waist nd deleting the distance between them. Did she want another question? Fine. "Are you jealous?" he asked in amused disbelief

She kept quiet, trying to find a way how to escape him, to avert the the question or furthermore it´s answer but now she was trapped and there surely wouldn´t be a way out now that Reth got hold on her. She already was close to at least turn her head away so she wouldn´t look him right in the eyes when she decided to do otherwise, to face him and get this quickly over with so she could search herself a hole where she can crawl into cuz that she really wanted to do now. "Okay, fine I admitt it I am jealous, yes."

Reth made sure she couldn't get away from him and that this time she would answer for real. He did suspect this could be a truth, but he was still slightly surprised to hear he was right "You knew I have this kind of habits when we started our affair..." he spoke to her softly, gently, but the truth was, for once he wasn't really sure what to say or do

"Yes yes I´m aware of that as well as about the fact that no matter if want to or not it´s not my place to ask or tell you to do otherwise anyways. So can we just go on now?" She answered pouting. Not only that sharing her feelings was quite embarrassing for her in that moment, also the longer they kept talking about this topic the more she got reminded that queen or not she was just one of many for Reth which made her heart aching heavily.

"Would you want me to do otherwise?" he asked almost interrupting her: no, he had no intention to let go of the subject. He wasn't just curious, he also wanted to understand her... even more, he felt this need to make her happy, seeing her upset because of him almost pained him...

"It doesn´t matter. But if you insist for an answer, yes I´d want to." She replied hoping that they now finally could move on and that this torture would come to an end.

Reth stared at Marina for a moment before he softly replied "ok" before he ben to kiss lightly her lips. He had never had only one lover before, sure for some times he had had favorite lovers, but never an exclusive relationship. But now... now even when he wasn't with Marina he thought about her, and he wanted her to be happy... and they didn't have much time left together, so he could as well take the best out of it!

Her eyes were blinking. Did she really just hear correctly? She wanted to say something, ask him again to make sure it wasn´t just her imagination when she felt his lips touch hers for a moment which made her heart racing like never before. Blushing she reached up to give him a kiss herself now. "Thank you. You know, that ... actually makes me very happy."

Her little kiss and her words made him smile, a sweet tender smile. Well, that was what he was aiming for... He held her closer, hugging her now with both his arms "Of course, this means I'll need to see you more often..." he replied in a teasing tone, but he was actually serious. If he had to cut off all the sex with anyone else, than Marina had to stick around quite more than usual... he did have needs, after all.

"That can be arranged." She said before kissed him again, forgetting completely the documents in her hands of which she let go of. Now that she didn´t have to share Reth with anyone else, at least when it comes to sex, she didn´t care about anything else in that moment and just enjoyed the little happieness with him.
