PostSubject: A millenia between two souls [TAG: Rhaelle]   Thu Mar 19, 2015 7:02 pm

Terror. Deep, running through veins, paralysing mind and body. The god's eyes shot open, his memory still haunted by cries that weren't his, by begging that weren't coming from his lips. How a simple mortal dared defy him on his land! How dared they spill on his face and his believers'! Slowly, the massive stature of the beast rise from his throne of cold stone, his presence making his priest shudders in fear. The Seven's rage was almost palpable to them, strong and heavy on them. The wrath of their god has been provoked...

In the blink of an eye, the God of Seven has appeared in one of the many warehouses of his city, a building in ruin, covered in dust and... blood. A low growl escaped his throat as he caught sight of the scene in front of him, his aura becoming more threatening and deadly than earlier and as his stance became primal. In front of his very eyes, a man, covered in sweat and blood, was beating to death a smaller figure. A child. Other bodies, alive but covered in bruises and wounds were weeping and moaning in pain around the two. The cries of the child were ringing in the air, full of terror and suffering, making the God's blood turn cold. A voice rang through the air. “Tell me, where are your gods now?!! Beg for them! Scream their names! They will not come for you for they do not exist ! Beg for mercy for I shall have none for any of you! You are all insects to me! Nothing!

Togohr's blood were boiling in his veins, his claws aching for the man's throat. He was aching to see him die painfully, weak, at his feet and bleeding to death. Killing. Destroying. It was all he was thinking now. A terrifying roar escaped his throat, stopping the mortal dead in his beating of the child. “ENOUGH!” The figure of the man turned towards him, shock painted on its ugly features. “Shall you try to lend another blow on this child, I will kill you on the spot

Another presence has appeared at his sides but the Seven didn't paid it any mind. No. His entire attention was on the man in front of him. No. Not the man. The beast. How ironic, he thought as his eyes darkened.

Thousand years - or has it already been several of these? - has passed and now after all this time she was back at her so called home, Westeros. But why did it take so long for her to come? She didn´t could point out the reason herself besides the ongoing pain of having lost everyone she ever cared about while she was brutally send away to a land she didn´t know all by herself being forced to find her own way to survive for her, for the people she used to call family, for the people who believed in her as Rhollor or her actual self as the godess of light and life. Having spent decades, hundreds and even more than thousand years being the guardian of her believers she grow a feeling on when it was needed for her to physically appear which just had happened and unfortunately she was proved right.

Burning eyes, litterally, was all Rhaelle allowed to be seen by the monster opposite to her as she walked to the beasts side. Well hidden under her black cloak she chuckled dangerously towards the monster as she passed him after some time moving right towards the girl to offer her her hand before she put back the cape and revealed her face to the girl. "There is no need to be afraid anymore Kenna. You called me and here I am."

A growl of anger escaped his throat as he watched the other deity ignore him to go at the child's sides, letting his fangs show. She was not supposed to be here, it was his land. His city. His people. Even those who still believed in the others gods were under his protection, ignoring that a sinister shadow watched over them, making sure that no unnecessary harm should happen to them. He was the Seven. He was One and Many. And those who were harmed when under his protection, should be avenged.

He walked slowly towards the priest who started to shake in fear and he had to repress a terrifying smirk. You should fear me human, he thought, for I will make you bled for each wounds that you have given them. His clawed hand piercing the man's shoulder, making him scream in suffering. He pushed slowly, making the man fall on his knee, the building entirely silent as the believers of both the God of Seven and the God of Light watched the beast, fascinated by the aura of power surrounding him. Some gasped, recognizing the presence of their God that watched over them during their life, guided them and they all watched him now with respect and adoration.

This was their God, and he was avenging them. Togohr looked at the man, his eyes seeing right through him, seeing his sins, his lies, his faults, his secrets, making the man shudder in fright. A threatening growl escaped the God's mouth as he leaned over the man, his animal face a few centimetres away from the man's and let his voice rung through the air, deep and imperious. “Tell me, wretch... How should I punish you for your crimes and the blood that is covering your hands ?

As the girl took Rhaelles hand she helped her stand up and focused on the believers both of her and the faith of seven. Togohr could have all the fun he wanted, for now, because the most important thing was to get the victims, the believers of both of them and their religions, out of this cruel place so they can go back home or at least find a better place and life than this. "Fear not my poor children. No harm shall come from your abusing monster anymore. Now leave this place knowing that we always have watched over you and will continue till your death and beyond." Finished with her speach a track of fire rised on the floor, marking from her very standing towards a currently burning door until it was opened and continued then beyond. "Follow this track of fire and you will get outside safely. Now go and be sure we will revenge you." She told them, fire in her eyes before turning her attention back to the two monsters right after the poor victims escaped. "Now to you two."

With each step she made to get closer to the them there was a painful heat starting, coming from her rising fire of anger burning inside as well as around the three of them leaving them no place to escape.

His hand still holding the man to the ground, Togohr turned his face towards the Goddess who was still advancing towards them, the air starting to become more and more heated as she advanced closer. His face was impassible, not letting any of the thoughts that traversed his mind appeared on his features. She had changed over the millennia. More sinister, more dangerous. And he had been the one who had caused such changes. But at the same time, it was the same fire that was burning in her eyes as that time, the same strength. She was familiar and a complete stranger now.

He turned his attention back on the man, his face still blank as his claws went deeper, cutting through skin and muscles, making the man scream in agony. He held the gaze of the human, watching through him, seeing all his secrets and thoughts, gathering as much informations as he could. Murder. Blood on his face. Laugher long forgotten... The God of Seven was judging the man's soul, raw and true, and let his claws sunk deeper. Not enough. The price was higher...

He hold still as he felt the Goddess at his sides, not even bothering to look at her a second time. His attention was entirely on the man shaking in pain under his claws, on the screams coming out of his throat.

Still focused on both of the males Rhaelle came closer until she reached Togohrs side. Just then though she created a big fire wall between him and the other monster to get them appart so she could deal with both of them on her own, in her way.

For the human monster she was setting fire into even the tiniest wound Togohr just had left to let the man burn from inside, his own wounds painfully to death while still alive. Smirking wickedly at his suffering for a moment she turned to Togohr still with fire of bloodlust in her eyes. Grabbing him at his cape she pulled him close enough so they were face to face now, equally facing each other. "How dare you Togohr."

Togohr didn't even flinched when a wall of flame raised between him and the human, a simple growl of annoyance passing his throat as he retrieved his clawed hand calmly, ignoring the little burns on his wrist. The God of Seven had survived far worse wounds by the past. Those burns were nothing but insignificant in comparison.

But for the man burning alive at their feet, it was surely not. He watched with some wicked fascination the way the flames were devouring the human's skin, the smell of burned flesh floating in the air as the man screamed in horror and suffering, his voice no longer human as it was deformed by the unbearable pain. Togohr was distracted however, when the other deity caught his cape between her pale fingers and pulled him close to her, her gaze planted in his own as she glared at him, the fire in her eyes burning with a new intensity.

Togohr looked right through her, an annoyed yet bored expression on his face before he pushed her hand away, his blue eyes turning as cold as steel. “Rhaelle.” The name, long forgotten, sounded foreign on his tongue. It had been centuries since he ever said her name. Those were memories of an another life. Both of them had changed since then. Him more than anyone else. “What a pleasure . It had been a long time.

Rhaelle snorted in disgust. "Pleasure? For you, maybe, for me, surely not. Maybe you have forgotten why I was away for that long but I didn´t you monster." She hissed at him cornering her eyes. Oh how much she would have loved to tear him apart into pieces, to burn him alive as she would see his suffering and smell his rotten body burn until only dust of him and all the memories she shared with him.

The God of Seven looked at the other deity, his eyes narrowing slightly at her outburst. He had not forgotten. No. He had not forgotten their betrayal, the way they had judged him when he had imposed his law on his land nor did he have forgotten the way his heart had been burned to ashes when She had betrayed him. His appearance was the symbol of his fall. “I have not forgotten.” His voice was sinister, filled with anger and a hint a reproach. “I have not forgotten how you all condemned for my rule over my land. I have not forgotten your flames taking the life of my servants. I have not forgotten your betrayal.

A growl of pure rage escaped him, his massive stature towered above her. Oh no, he had not forgotten. Their lies. The wounds that adorned his body proves of the wounds he had received when fighting them so many centuries ago. His eyes were as cold as ice when his gaze locked with her's. “For all the harm that you have caused on my people, I have exiled you far away. For all the ruin that you have imposed on this land, I have spared your believers. For all the death that you have brought on my children, I have spared your life.” His voice turned as sharp as steel. “And I am the monster.

"But you seem to have forgotten of your own betrayal, the only real one. You have been the one who abandoned, totured and killed the humans you once should have protected since it was your role to be the humanities guardian. As for me you did have forgotten that I never betrayed you. I wasn´t the one turning you into this constant form. I wasn´t the one who wanted to have you exiled. In fact I was one of the only two who wanted to spare you, to save you form your punishment. You and I have been friends one and at that time I did stand up for you though it surely would have been better if I hadn´t since you were the cause of the death of all the others of our kind and for that I will never forgive you." With a burning tear in her eye as she remembered all her loss, including the their "mother" as well as her loved one Nalios, she let go of him and made one step backwards, turning to look at the human one last time who wouldn´t live much longer now. "As for your people I never harmed them until I had to fight them for my own survival, and now for the ones of my own people."

The memories of his past crimes resurged suddenly in his mind, making him silent as Rhaelle's words haunted his soul. It was true. Long time ago, he had turned away from his duty. He could still see the faces of the humans he killed that day, blind in his fury and judgement, ending their fragile life in a snap of his fingers. Although, he did not regretted it. No. He hadn't regretted ending the life of the men who had beaten to death a child who had come paid his respects to him. He hadn't regretted ending the life of an entire village who had killed a soon-to-be mother because she believed in him. He regretted nothing.

But none of the other Gods had tried to understand him. None of them have understood the agony which had devoured his heart as his believers were persecuted, accused of heresy. Except one. One had tried to talk to him. One had tried to understand him. Rhaelle. “I do not ask for forgiveness, Rhaelle.” His gaze was distant, looking at nothing in particular as Togohr was lost in memories of another life. “I will forever live with their ghosts walking at my side, their faces haunting my soul for as long as I will walk on this earth. Forgiveness is not for me.” He had killed his own kind, their blood tainted his clawed hands in his dreams and visions. Once a God, now a Beast.

I know. You never take a life if it can be spared.” A derisive smile, almost sad, appeared on his lips as he looked at his clawed hands, perfectly seeing the blood of his victims through this age and the other and the blood his people had shed in offering to him in hopes of glory. “It seems that the Curse of the Beast can pass on its believers.

Clawing the flames around the human to end him for good she let out one last quiet develish cuckle before she turned back to the beast with a glare. "Oh it surely wasn´t your curse that turned this human into a mortal devil. They do make their own decisions no matter how much we try to guide them and do them good. However it´s good that you haven´t forgotten your sins and never will cuz so will I aswell."

A lifeless laugh escaped the God's throat, resonating in the empty warehouse. How could he ever forgot the crimes he had committed when his believers act the same way as he did so many centuries ago? The blood on his hands has somehow passed on his believers, making them continue the eternal bloodshed. “But actions can have impact on their faith. My sins as you say it, had given birth to theirs, my anger had grow in their hearts for many centuries... That is something that will never stop haunting my mind.
